Chapter 3

Yuki POV

I was walking through the halls and I see Kanade, "I see you're happy this morning?" I raise an eyebrow, she just happily hums and nods in response, "Hey Kanade," We both turn and see Shu leaning on a wall, when he was me he blushed, "What's with the red face and the burrowed brow bedhead boy?" I ruffle his hair up, barely grazing it because I was too short, I pout and he chuckles, "What were you and the president talking about?" Kanade earlier this morning told us that our school will be participating in this year's community clean-up day, seemed interesting, "The usual, Akane's hand in marriage," Kanade leant forward, "That dewb has some nerve if he thinks I'll ever allow that to happen! You can't just marry a Sakurada on a whim we're royalty for crying out loud!" Shu yells at Kanade, "Hypocrite," I cough into my hand, "That was no whim, I planned that from the very beginning!" He stands proudly and grabs me hugging me tight, "Relax I'm kidding, we were talking about the clean-up, also since when did you and Yuki get so friendly?" She points at the two of us, I try to lift his arms up so I could untangle myself from him but he wouldn't budge, "Since yesterday," I had a confused look on my face, "I thought you said it was a secret?" I look up at him, "We're dating," He blankly says, "HUH!" She shouts, "Why'd you say that!" I try to pull his arms up but no-avail, "She's my twin, I don't keep things from her, besides, she'd know in a heartbeat, she's like my second half," He leans his head on top of mine, "Ok, but why? You promised dad you wouldn't date someone until after the elections, why now?" She looks at him, he shrugs, "Cause we love each other," I blush bright red, "SHU!" I lower my body temperature to ice and he lets go, "God Yuki, what just happened to you?" He rubs his arms to warm himself back up, I grin, "Lowered my body temperature that way you'll let go of me," He chuckles and kisses the top of my head, "I'm heading back to the first-years," I had steam coming off me, "Looking awfully red there Sweetie~" He yells after me, I was even redder.

The day of the clean-up arrived, "Are we ready!" The representative of the first years goes up with Akane who was vice, "Yeah!" Everyone else cheered, this will be a piece of cake, I hold my right hand up, "Hey Yuki, what are you doing exactly?" Akane comes up to me, a whole collection of cans and metal good comes flying to my hand, "Electromagnetism, aka magnetism, comes in handy when you need to do things like this," I grin, "Wow! That's amazing!" Her eyes seemed to sparkle. I was walking through town, people were now praising me for the things I did for Teru and the royal family, they apologised, everything was great, "What's that?" I ask a random girl, "I'm not sure, it's been here all day, it's like a large... house?" I nod, suddenly it opens, everyone was patiently awaiting what was inside... " THE SAKURADAS!" I scream, I make eye contact with Shu and the both of us scream, I cover my eyes, my hair standing on end, I slowly walk back and pretend I never saw what I did. The entire family at a fake beach, "It wasn't real, it wasn't real..." I mutter, this town has nothing normal about it, but then again, there's never a dull moment. At school the next day, the classes were having PE, I wasn't allowed to participate because I would use my quirk too much, apparently, it wasn't fair on the other students so I had to sit out, I see Shu sitting at a bench, "what are you doing? Why are you playing soccer with the rest of your class? Is it cause of your leg? I swore, that day when I saved Teru, you were about to save him but something happened to your leg? What's wrong?" I ask him, he sighs and pats the seat next to him, I sit down, "Truth is. When we were younger, Kanade used her power to create a castle for Akane, she was already out of money but she continued. Before you knew it, it toppled and crumbled I was able to get them to safety but in turn, I damaged my legs so I can't run now, it's too hard." He looks at the soccer players, "You know what Shu, I think Kanade's going for king for one sole reason," I look up at the sky, he turns his attention to me, "Think about it, you guys may have been kids but I think Kanade's going for king for you Shu. She wants to put all the money into medical research, to get you running again, you look at those boys playing soccer so sadly, I'm guessing you want to play too huh?" I lean my face on my hands, he had wide eyes, "Assessing people, a hero training perk I picked up," I grin, he chuckles, "Just what are they teaching you at UA?" He wraps me in a hug, I laugh.
