24. Waiting

Liam came in and sat on the couch and I sat besides him.

"Now tell me."

"Tell you what?"

"Why are you upset and why were you crying?" He said looking at me trying to read my face.

"No I am not crying and I am not at all upset." I said avoiding his gaze.

"Nivuu I can see that. Your eyes are completely red and puffy." He said looking at me.

"Oh it's nothing it's just because of some dust." I said getting up trying to control my tears. He took a deep breath and stood up and walked towards me and turned me around and look in my eyes.

"Nivuu there is no dust in here and you know you can't lie. You are my sister and I need to know what is bothering you." He said looking at me and I hugged him tightly and cried. That was it, my breaking point. I couldn't hold it anymore. I cried and sobbed in his arms and he hold me and tried to calm me down running his hand on my back.

He kept quiet while I cried my heart out. He hold me and then after some time I kept quiet and wiped my tears from the sleeves of my t-shirt.

"Now tell me." He said and there was a knock on the door and Leo was standing on the door.

"Can I come in." He asked looking at me and Liam and we nodded and he came in.

"Hey...What are you doing?" He asked looking at me.

"Nothing." I replied looking at the other side avoiding both of their gazes.

"Is something wrong with you today." He asked again and I shook my head.

"Nivuu you are upset from the morning and I can see something is wrong with you that's why I came to ask and I saw Liam is here. It means something is really bothering you and I need to know what's disturbing my baby sister." He said firmly and tears started falling down again.

I told them everything what happened and I cried as Leo hugged me calmed me down and soon Liam joined the hug. They both calmed me down and I slowly stopped crying. I saw Leo's jaw and fist clenched in anger and Liam was tensed and equally angry too.

"I need to talk to Zain." Leo said angrily nodding to himself and I stopped him.

"No Leo it's okay. Don't tell him anything. I don't want you both fighting because of me." I said and he shook his head.

"No I have to talk." He said and turned around to leave but I stopped him holding his hand.

"No Leo leave it. Don't talk with him right now. And you know how his anger is and how strong he is. I don't want my mate to punch my brother. Again." I said and he pulled his hand out of my hand and hold my arms.

"I am not going to fight with him. I am just going to talk to him. He must be my alpha and your mate but you are my sister and he is my bestfriend and I have to talk to him. I promise I'll not make him angry." He said and Liam blinked his eyes assuring me to let him go and I nodded.

"Okay but don't say anything that will make him angry." I said and he smiled and nodded and leaved the room.

"Wait. I am coming with you." Liam said and quickly leaved the room behind him.
