Eddie mumbled making his way home. "Can't believe I got fucking suspended..." Obviously, the boy was just venting to himself since everyone else was in school, his little "episode" didn't help with the new rumours of Eddie being a junkie. The poor kid just had a panic attack.

Eddie made his way down the alleyway breathing in the intoxicating smell of rotting carcase filled his nose. He groaned seeing the boy dumping rotten meat. "Hanlon! It stinks like shit!" Mike gave him a smile, but it quickly faded. "Why aren't you in school?" Eddie hummed making his way to the back exit. "Why aren't you?"

Mike laughed shutting the bin. "Technically, I am Eddie. Now, what happened." Eddie dropped his head, kicking a stone lightly, it plopped on the cement. "Got suspended, had a panic attack, and fucked up my only chances of a relationship." Mike stammered. "Rough day?" Eddie nodded sighing. "Yep."

"Mike! Get back in here!" Mike groaned. "I'll talk to you tomorrow? Alright?" Eddie nodded giving him a small wave frowning. "See you later."

He made his way to his building hearing a "Someone's home early? What happened?" Eddie jumped seeing Hazel in the lobby. "Oh, I thought you had bingo?" Hazel groaned. "Got cancelled cause a certain someone broke there wrist, now...why is my amazing, smart, and cute son home?"

Eddie laughed entering her small and humble apartment, it was very frilly with flower patterns and an old TV, flowers set on the coffee table and hanging plants. It was beautiful. Eddie sat down. "Well...John...He uh, didn't notice cause I was kinda trying to keep my head down and uh...he's in my class."

Hazel frowned rubbing his shoulder, to show him a sign of comfort. "What happened?" Eddie sighed gripping his face. "Uh, he made a presentation on the foster system...and how I'm a crackhead...and then. I lost it..."

Hazel cocked her head. "How did you lose it?" Eddie sighed as the tears slowly trickled down his cheeks. "I uh...I punched him...over and over. Until my friend, Richie, dragged me off him." He slowly bit his bottom lip letting out a shaky sigh. "And then I screamed at him, and had a fucking panic attack! When I get back to school they're all going to think I'm a junkie who overdosed!"

Hazel pulled him into her embrace rubbing his back, slow circle as she whispered in a soothing tone. "Twinkle twinkle little star."

"How I wonder what you are."

"Up above the world so high,"

"Like a diamond in the sky."

Eddie let out a low laugh as his breathing returned to a steady pace. "Thank you, mum-... I mean, Hazel." Hazel smiled rubbing the top of his head. "Don't thank me."

Eddies phone went off along with his ringtone cause Eddie to jump. "Oh...I uh, I gotta take this." Hazel nodded. "Come talk whenever you like." Eddie nodded smiling. "I will, you too." He exited the apartment answering his phone. "Hello?"

"Eddie! Suspended?! How?! Why?!" His foster mother exclaimed making Eddie sigh slowly walking up the stairs, valuing each one. "A guy was calling me a junkie! It's not my fault!" His foster mother groaned. "One more outburst and you're back home! Do you hear me?" Eddie groaned. "Fine!" He hung up his phone quickly, pissed.

He entered his apartment slamming the door behind him, Buddy ran quickly jumping for him, Eddie let out a shaky breath heading for his room. "Hey, buddy." He flopped down quickly chucking off his shirt letting it fall wherever. He unbuttoned his jeans quickly pushing them down chucking them to the side. He groaned as Buddy jumped next to him. "It's too hot!"
