Ryan looked at Arianna feeling sudden regain. He was himself again but he was filled with undeniable sudden shock. Like he had been punched in the gut and hadn't seen it coming, like he had been betrayed. Tortured. Played with. Ryan felt his world rip into two as Arianna sighed and stated,
"Its true. I AM the bad guy."
"Arianna--youre lying."
Ryan muttered.
"Im sorry Ryan but, Sweetheart, I am like a volcano. Ive waited, and waited, Ive watched with pure agony as years passed by. I could never burst. I could never erupt with emotion and truth--"
Arianna sucked in her breath and spat,
"And now. I WILL ERUPT!"
Arianna suddenly filled the room with light, the light was stinging Ryans body ever little ray that lay a finger on him made him scream, he screamed and screamed, shouts and shrieks he has never heard erupt from his mouth did as the burning light engulfed him in its fury.

Jack and Alexander furrowed their brows and watched her leave thinking they were following her.
Alexander sighed,
"What about the words on the wall?"
He asked Jack.  Jack suddenly frowned.
"Lets check it again."
The two paced across the floor and made it to the inscribed words.
"Wait--look at that."
Jack whispered and traced his fingers across the words and then he took off the layers of dust that hid a letter. Alexander gasped.
The words became,

You are close,
not to far,
do you know? Love brings a scar.
There is one, who loves.
BE CAREFUL!
She will be an omen and a disastrous curse
Find her now and bring her to an end for your future.

"Oh my god."
Jack whispered, they had to find and kill Ebony. Now.  Alexander backed up in disbelief when he heard a rumble. A minter bound up towards them its claws ready to sink into flesh. The creature was beautifully ugly. It had the most shiny blood red scaled and a hideous scar above its eye.
Jack quickly unsheathed his sword and swung, the sword grazed the beasts eye but the monster didn't stop for a moment as Alexander pulled out two daggers and went towards the creature. Jack swung again and the creature cried out in anger as it realized he had made it bleed. Deep magenta blood ran down its scales and alexander finished it as he dug his dagger its chest.
Good riddance.

Violet stood up. She felt like she was in control. The past few weeks she had been under satins spell or something because she couldn't control anything she did. Violet looked up and saw Ryan completely naked in a fire he looked scared. She had never seen him scared before. She looked down and realized she was in fact naked as well yet she was in a pond of water. She couldn't move and then fear crept upon her as the cold water climbed up her skin and over her chest towards her neck. Violet screamed, she was going to drown! She was going to drown! Violet saw Ryan screaming as well as the flames engulfed her.
"Stop! Please stop!"
Ryan screamed and Violet watched as the flames simmered down only to flare up again but this time into Arianna. The fiery Arianna gave him a smile and hugged him.
"Its okay, Ryan. Don't worry just calm down..."
Her voice was silky and her hair of flames  billowed across Ryans face. Ryan whimpered and closed his eyes. When he opened then again she was gone, replaced by angry flames. Violet was freezing as she watched, she was oblivious to her own scream and then started to realize why she was screaming. Her heart felt like it was in her throat and the water had made it over her nose. She couldn't breath, she couldn't move. The water rose above her head and Violet screamed again.
Ryan suddenly yelled,
"WE ARE DEAD! VIOLET! CAN YOU HEAR ME? WE ARE--IVE BEEN HE--I MEAN-- it doesn't matter anymore..."
Violet just heard the last four words but she did. And she stopped trying, letting the water fill her nostrils and drown her. It didn't matter anymore.

So why keep trying?
