Two Years Later.
It has been two years since my mom died..
I missed her so much..
Ever since then though, I haven't been as sad.
From time to time, I'd have my moments but Craig tried his best to keep me happy.
He helped me through so much and took care of me.
We finished school together.
We moved in with each other.
He purposed to me.
We got married.
We also adopted our beautiful son.
Everything was turning out amazingly great!
"Daddddddyyyyyy!" Our son Creek came running over to me.
I smiled widely and picked him up. "Hi! How did it go with dad at the park?"
Creek pouted "Dad wouldn't let me slide down the slide one more time!"
He whined as he flipped Craig off once he walked in.
My eyes went widened. "Craig! What did I say about you t-teaching him about... T-that!?"
Craig shrugged. "I couldn't help myself."
Creek flipped me off. "Daddy don't yell at dad! Fuck."
Craig stood there and shook his head while grinning. "I'm such a proud dad."
I gave him the biggest glare.
Craig just stood there with his eyes closed and had the biggest smile on his face.
"Daddy I want more coffee!" Creek pulled on my shirt.
"Oh so you're giving him coffee now?" Craig opened his eyes and lifted a brow.
My face turned red. "He w-wanted a sip! It w-was a little sip! I couldn't say no!"
He grinned and nodded. "Mhmm."
I looked down at the little boy in my arms then smiled. "Hey Creek, sweetie. How about you go show dad your new toys instead!" I put Creek on the ground.
Creek jumped up and down while flipping off Craig. "Yes! Let's go dad!" He ran to Craig and grabbed his hand, pulling him.
Craig stared at me over his shoulder and flipped me off. "You're lucky I love you."
"I love you too!" I smiled and held my cup of coffee against my lips as I watched them leave.
Yeah.. my life was going great!
Couple minutes later Creek came back in with a toy gnome. "Daddy look what dad gave me to show you!"
I turned my head and screamed. "AGH! CRAAAIG!"
I heard him laughing loudly and shouted "Good job Creek! I'm so proud of you son!"
I sighed while taking the gnome from Creek and smiled at him. "Let's g-go get dad!"
Creek giggled while flipping me off as he ran out. "We're coming for you daddy!"
I let out a deep breath as I lifted the trash then threw away the gnome. "That's right!" I also ran out of the room.
And yes I named the little boy Creek. To me, it's cute. Don't judge me. 😂
