Roseanne Park, Age: 30

"You don't know my name! Why are you calling me like that?" I said with a tear in my eye.

"Chae," Jimin grabbed my hand, but I got out of his grip.

"So what! If you're right, nothing is going to change. It does not matter if I am Roseanne or Chaeyoung," I walked out of the office. I knew it was up. This is the end.

The next day, I was at my desk when Mrs. Song came rushing to me. She gave me the news that Jimin was resigning from the company. Jungkook ran in and begged me for an answer. I told Jungkook to meet upstairs at the roof. Jungkook was at leaning on the railing and got off when he noticed I came up.

"Why is he resigning? What happened!" Jungkook asked in a panic.

"Kookie... I'm Chaeyoung."

His eyes lit up immediately and grabbed me. Jungkook hugged me and lifted me into the air. Then he let me down.

"You know that he is still suffering... plus Lisa didn't help him. Wait! Did she know?" Jungkook started to piece everything together.

"Lisa was the first! I know Jimin is still suffering," I felt bad for what I did.

Then his phone rang. He answered it and handed it to me.

"Roseanne Park. Go to the cafe near the town square. You know which one," Seulgi spoke fast then hung up.

I met up with Seulgi near the cafe. She was sitting there, alone drinking coffee. I sat down across from her and started a casual conversation, but it got serious.

"I know you are Chaeyoung. You used Jimin because he was weak," Seulgi's voice got mad.

"What do you want me to say?" I looked at her dead in the eye.

"Why did you come back? Was it because of Jimin? Don't give him a hard time anymore," Seulgi ranted.

"I won't. I heard from Jungkook and Lisa that you helped Jimin a lot when he fell on hard times," I said.

"Don't get it twisted. He was the one who helped me, if he wasn't around, I would be dead. Back then... if it wasn't for that abortion, would you have married Jimin?" Seulgi asked.

"Why does it matter now? I don't want to see you again," I said.

"That is all. I think we are done here," Seulgi just got up and left.

Night, Under a Bridge

"You think I was happy when I meet you? I didn't know what to do!"  I started to cry.

"So you pretended to didn't know and enjoy yourself. You must've thought I was an idiot," Jimin's eyes watered.

"You asked why I didn't tell you... You know why I left... You know why I can't say anything. IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU! You were happy that I left. All your problems were solved when I left!" I screamed.

"After you left, without leaving a single word behind, I couldn't reach you at all. I couldn't stop you from leaving. I COULDN'T SAY I WAS SORRY OR ANYTHING I WANTED TO SAY. YOU MADE IT LIKE THAT," Jimin argued back.

"It would have been better if you forgot about it. You could've had a better life, if we didn't meet," My voice softened as I cried.

"Chae..." Jimin realized what he did.

"What did I do wrong? What on earth did I do wrong? Why can't I still get you off of my mind?" Tears rolled down my face.

Jimin just softened up and hugged me. I missed the feeling of him.

"I will not ever leave you alone again," He said as I cried in his arms. Then Jimin let go of me. He gently took my hand and gave me the necklace. That broke me further as I started to cry more.

"Chae... Just come back to me. I promise I will not leave you anymore," Jimin said hugging.

Time Skip

I directed Jimin to the family's restaurant. We both go out at the front and Jimin was amazed. He laughed and said he would've figured this out if I gave him time. He is an idiot, but he is my idiot. Then his Mom came up to his. I introduced myself as Park Roseanne. I looked to my left and my Mom is giving the death glare. She dragged me back into the house.

"How can you lie to me like that? I saw PARK JIMIN WITH MY EYES!" Mom yelled.

"Hey Hey! They meet by an accident," Tiffany tried to explain. All of us had known one member of their family except for Mom. Eventually Mom calmed down as we explained that I was an adult now. Everything was fine...

Lunch

Lisa, Jungkook, Jimin, and I decided to have a double date. Just like in high school, Lisa and I sat together while we sat across from our partners. Lisa was protective as ever as Jimin and Jungkook were suffering.

"My chipmunk. I will never let Jimin lay a finger on you," Lisa said in her cute voice.

We all laughed and recounted events from high school. It was a nice lunch with time to catch up. Then Jungkook told us something.

"Lisa and I have a very important announcement. We are having a baby! I mean she's carrying the baby. I just... Ahh You know!"

I think I wasted more tears that day than any other day. Then Jimin fist-bumped Jungkook and laughed. After the announcement, we all decided to visit the high school. It was closed, but we got permission to sit in the courtyard.

That one day, Seulgi, JK, Lisa, Jimin, and I were sitting introducing ourselves. Those were the days of innocence. It was a nice time. Then Jimin grabbed my hand and led me the field.

"I want this to be permanent. I want to have a future with you," Jimin said as he got down on one knee.

"Jimin. You don't have to-," I said in shock.

"Take this ring to promise me you won't love anyone else, but me," Jimin took out a box with an expensive looking ring.

"I promise I will love you and only you," I promised him. Jimin grabbed my hand and slotted the ring on my ring finger. Jimin held me by my waist and pulled me close before he kissed me. We kissed for a long time before someone interrupted.

"Took you long enough!" Jungkook yelled and laughed. Jungkook walked towards us and high-fived Jimin. Lisa ran up and hugged me with tears in her eyes.

It was official. Park Jimin was the one for me. I waited long enough for the right person for me, and he came to me after 12 years. It all started with that smile...

"Hello," I bowed stuttering. "I was looking for the teacher's office when I noticed your music,"

"Where are you going!" Jimin asked as I walked away. "The office isn't there," He stopped me.

"By the way. I'm Park Jimin. Let me show you where the office is. Are you new here?"

"I'm Chaeyoung. I'm also a Park. I'm a new transfer student,"
