I opened the door to the ice cream shop then walked in. I scanned the room to see Lisa in a booth. I walked over to her and sat down.
"Hi Lisa," I said awkwardly.
"Roseanne Park?" Lisa said. I could see the doubt in her eyes, but I stayed focused on being Roseanne.
"Imma go get ice cream, what do you want?" I quickly said.
"Strawberry flavor with a lot of sprinkles and ask for a bowl for cherries," Lisa smiled at me. I stopped in my tracks. She just repeated my favorite ice cream flavor and my creation. I nodded before going up to the counter and ordering what she wanted.
Once I got the ice cream, I gave a cone to her, and I ate mine. It was an awkward atmosphere.
"Your CEO, Park Jimin hides a dark secret," Lisa said in a darkened tone. Was it about me?
"Don't tell me! He uses his company as a front for an illegal business," I said in an exaggerated shocked tone.
"Behind the Jimin, you see smiling, caring, and the joker. He hides a secret. Jimin acts that way because he lost someone important. His family forced him to abandon her. He looked for the girl he loved for a long time and gave up," Lisa explained and went on. I knew she was talking about me. Jimin didn't love me, he abandoned me.
Lisa grabbed my hand: "Chaeyoung."
