Best Time of My Life (1D Fanfic)

A/N: so for anyone reading this, please go easy on me? Lol this is my first fanfic and i'm gonna try to make it seem like it actually could happen (rather than those fanfics where like Louis is eating carrots every 5 minutes, etc) but yea, hopefully u guys like it!!!!

Chapter 1

"So... What did you want to do?"

"I'm not sure.... You wanna go to the park?"

"Nah, its cold outside."

"Well that's what jackets are made for Violet."

Yes, here I am with my best friend, as usual, not knowing what to do on a Saturday morning.... Maybe I should introduce myself. My name is Nicole Rivers. I live here in Ohio, in a small town not many people have heard of. I'm 16, and live with my mom and older brother, Lucas, since my parents divorced 3 years ago, and my dad is always moving to a new country or city in what seems like every 3 or 4 months. Even though my name is Nicole, most people call me Nic or Nikki just cuz I really don't like my name. I'm average height, and have medium length auburn hair. My friend on the other hand is completely different. Her name is Violet A. Sonlin. She has short black hair, and is fairly tall. She is also 16, (but a few months younger than me) and she lives here in town along with her HUGE family. Yea, she has 2 brothers, Nate and Dustin, (Nate is 8, Dustin is 15) and 3 sisters named Charlotte, Taylor, and Harley (Charlotte - 3, Taylor - 10, Harley - 14) who all share a house together. Well this is where the story begins.

"Let's go to the mall. Maybe we can also see a movie." I suggested

"Oohh!! I know!!! Let's see that new movie with Josh Hutcherson!! I've wanted to see it for a while now!!" Violet said, jumping up down, causing my mom to yell at us to be quiet.

"Hahaha good job Violet, but yea, that sounds fun, let's go"

*At the mall*

We got our tickets at the booth and had a little bit over an hour til the movie started, so we deicided to walk around and go look at the pet store. As we were walking to the pet store on the second level, we stopped in Claires to look at earrings

"Aww! Look at the little gummy bear ones! I think I'm gonna get them."

"Violet, maybe you should wait till after the movie, then you won't have to carry them around everywhere."

"Ok, I guess you're right. Well then, maybe we should start heading over to the theater then?"

"Yea, let's go."

Just then, a song started playing. It seemed familiar, like I had heard it before, but I didn't really know the words.

"Dum, da dum da dum dum dum da dum da dum da dum dum dum. You're insecure, don't know what for-"

"Nikki, lets go,"

"Wait, do you know what song this is?"

"No, now come on! We're gonna miss the movie if we don't leave now!"

"Ok, ok.. Let's go. Ill look up the song later"

After the movie and both of us throwing popcorn at each other, resulting at an old couple giving us mean looks, we decided to go back to Claires so Violet could get her earrings. As we were leaving the store, I heard the song again.

"Hold on Violet, I'll be right back." I said walking back into the store and over to the desk and the worker.

"Excuse me, do you know what song this is?" I asked her

"Oh, yea, this is One Direction. They're a new band from England. I don't know much about them, but I'm pretty sure this song is called What Makes You Beautiful."

"Ok, thanks!" I said leaving.

After driving home, and eatting a pizza we picked up on the way, we decided to watch a movie then go to bed.

"What movie?" I asked

"hmmmm.. How about that movie your brother rented, I think it was called Spirits Away or something?"

"Oh, you mean Spirited Away?"

"Yea! That one! Its like a cartoon from Japan!" Violet said with a very excited expression on her face.

"Haha sure Violet."

When the movie finished, we went up to my room and made our beds (which consisted of many blankets and pillows piled on the floor) and then got on my laptop to check our facebooks/twitters.

"shoot... What was the name of that band again? New Perfection? ...... Oh! One Direction! Here, Violet, let's look them up and see who they are."

We got on youtube and looked up "One Direction". Many videos of the England X Factor came up. The boys looked like they were about 16 or 17, so we kept watching video after video. Little did we know, this would only be the beginning for them, and our life would change forever.

So?? Hopefully that's a good beginning. :) Im gonna try to write at least 3 or 4 chapters a week, if possible. It'd be amazing if you guys could leave a comment maybe? Tell me if you have any tips for me ;) otay, well ima go now... SO EXCITED!! Take Me Home comes out officially in a few hours where I live (and Im just gonna say this, the commercial for it just came on as I was writing this lol) but yea.. Don't wanna go to school tomorrow.. Bleh, well cya!
