I look at the necklace I had just stole from a stand on the main street, it was very pretty. It was a purple heart on a chain

'I'm gonna give this to mal since its her 16th birthday next week' I thought to myself 'she must be in the hangout'
So I head over towards the hangout making sure to scare a few people on the way for fun. Soon I am stood at the bottom of the stairs so I threw a rock at the sign and head up.
When I got up I shouted for Mal to see if she was there "Mal are you here?"
As I entered into the main room I see Mal and Jay both with messy hair and Mal had a hickey on her neck
"MAL HOW COULD YOU?" I scream, tears threating to fall
"Madelyn its not what it looks like" Jay trys to explain before I cut him by saying
"Sure it isn't, you definitely dont have your tounge down my sisters throat" I argue "you know what Mal, I hate you" i say throwing the necklace I was going to give her on the floor and stomping on it so it broke before turning around and running out before they could say anymore
As I'm running down the stairs I see Evie and Carlos about to walk in but they stop when they hear me running down
"Maddie what happened are you okay?" Evie asks
"Why dont you ask that back stabbing bitch of a sister upstairs" I cry before running off into the nearest alleyway and go far into it so it's dark and I can't really be seen from the streets. As soon as I get to that point I stop and lean against the wall slowly sliding down it while crying
'Why did mal kiss Jay?' I thought to myself 'why did Jay kiss back? I thought he loved me. Am I not good enough'
Suddenly I hear Carlos shout "Maddie please come back, it's getting dark"
So I get up and head towards the docks where I know he won't find me
As I'm heading there I run into a guy with blond hair and a brown bandana
"Oh hey, watch out will you?" He says
"I'm so sorry" I apologise
"Oh you're upset, why dont you come to the fish and chip shop with me and we can help!" He says excitedly
"Isnt that Uma's Place?" I question
"Yea she's my captain, shes pretty cool. I'm Gil by the way" he introduces himself
"Madelyn" I say
"That's nice name" he compliments "follow me"
"Ok" I smile at him as he starts to walk off
'He seems way too nicefor a pirate' I say to myself 'Wait isn't he Gastons son?'
Carlos' POV
Me and Evie had been with our parents for too long so we decided to go to the hangout to see if anyone was there
When we get there we hear someone come down the stairs very quickly, as they got further down the stairs we saw that it was Maddie but she was crying
"Maddie what happened are you okay?" Evie asks
"Why dont you ask that back stabbing bitch of a sister upstairs" she says before running off.
Me and Evie look at each other confused before heading upstairs to see what had happened, when we got to the top we see a broken necklace on the floor, Mal (who is freaking out) and Jay
"Guys what happened?" I ask
"Maddie may have walked in on me and Mal kissing" Jay says nervously
"MAL, JAY WHAT THE HELL?!" Evie screams "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO HER?"
"WE WERE HAVING A MOMENT AND IT JUST HAPPENED OKAY?" Jay argues
"NO ITS NOT OKAY YOU SHOULDN'T BE HAVING MOMENTS WITH YOUR GIRLFRIENDS SISTER" I shout at them "Well maddie was very upset so I'm gonna go find her you two can stay here, and you to Evie, make sure they dont go at it again."
"Ok will do" Evie says, as I start to leave I can hear Evie telling then off
'I can't believe Jay, I thought he really liked Maddie, and even worse he cheated on her with her sister' I think to myself trying not to get too angry 'Maddie is like a sister to me, I need to make sure is okay'
When I got downstairs I went in the direction she went shouting for her "Maddie please come back, it's getting dark"
Timeskip
After looking for at least an hour I decided that she must have gone to a friends so I head back to the hangout ready to have a go at Jay and Mal cause they made Maddie run away.
Ok so this is the first part of their backstory hopefully they won't be too long, I'm only planning on doing 2 or 3. Anyway I hope you enjoyed the first chapter of this story
