"Sunshine you're not alone, you'll never be alone... you'll always have me."

They stayed cuddled up in that position for god knows how long. She sat there, rubbing his back while he cried, and cried, and cried. She wasn't going to say anything until he did, until he was ready.

"I'm sorry," He whispered so quietly that it almost went unnoticed by Nari, "What do you mean?" She asked in the softest voice she could muster, not wanting to scare him any further, "I was being so rude to you and all of my friends, I should've just talked with you, I'm so sorry," His voice was quiet, and scratchy because of all the tears he had shed.

"Please don't apologize, yes what you said might've not been the kindest, but everyone has their moments, it's just that some people deal with them differently."

She rubbed his back, trying to calm him, "That's the problem, I deal with it so differently that it hurts other people. I'm too different, too dramatic. No wonder people don't want to talk to me anymore," Nari felt him squeeze onto her shirt once again as tears slowly started to make their way down his face once again, "No, don't say that,"

He continued to cry as she lifted his head, and cupped his face in her hands. "Hey, look at me,"

He shook his head as his eyes stayed glued to the ground, not wanting to look her in the eye. He was scared that she was just pretending, scared that if she genuinely saw him like this, she would be like everyone else.

"Please Sunshine," He took a shaky breath and slowly looked into her eyes. He expected laughter, he expected disgust, but all he got was pure sincerity, and he didn't know how to react.

"I want you to know that everything they said was not true. You are such a sweet, confident, kind soul and anyone who doesn't see that is missing out. You light up the people around you even if they don't want you to, and you can keep people happy, you keep me happy." She showed a little smile, and his eyes widened a bit. Nari saw how surprised he looked when she said the last part and it only broke her heart more.

He continued to look in Nari's eyes as she gazed back at him, "I'm here, and I'm going to stay, you know that right?"

He choked back some tears, still looking right at her, "Y-yes"

"You also know that you can share anything with me, without being judged or laughed at right?" He nodded his head, not trusting his voice to be stable. "And I hope you know that the only one who can define you, is you. So embrace it, because you have so much light that will lift up everyone around you," She held her gaze as Donghyuck stared back at her.

After a couple seconds of registering what she said, small tears started to make their way down his face, "Please don't cry," He continued to look in Nari's eyes as she gazed back at him concerned. She took her thumb and rubbed the tears from under his eyes, which only made more tears come.

Donghyuck knew these tears were different from the ones from before, these weren't pitiful tears, sad tears, angry tears, these were happy tears. Tears because he finally felt welcomed, he finally felt accepted, he finally felt not alone.

He gave Nari a small smile hoping it would show her how he felt, and when she smiled back even bigger, he knew she got it to.

They were currently sitting on her couch watching a movie together, with Donghyucks head on her shoulder. After everything that happened on the floor, Donghyuck didn't feel like talking much and Nari respected that so she didn't talk either. As the 2nd movie ended Nari realized the time, "Don't you have school tomorrow? It's almost 1am,"

At the mention of school, Donghyuck visibly sank and nodded his head. "Well then, unless you want to be completely exhausted you should probably get to bed." He groaned and got up, Nari doing the same. "You can take the bedroom right across from mine okay?"
He nodded and wordlessly walked into the room, shutting the door behind him. Nari watched the door close and stood there for a second. She sighed, then turned around walking into her room, thoughts filled with him, and only him.

Nari and Donghyuck were driving to school in complete silence. Usually Donghyuck would not stop talking. He was one to always keep the conversations rolling, and make everyone laugh. After yesterday Nari did expect him to be a little calmer, but she didn't expect him to be this silent.
