On my way home I saw a group of people up ahead. But no big deal I could just take the long way home.

On my way down the separate path through the woods, I heard a familiar scraping sound on the pavement behind me. I knew it because my brother does it coming down the driveway.

I turned my head slightly to look casual, brushing a pretend leaf over my shoulder.

Of course.

I picked up the pace a little, and when I did so did the scraping. I skidded to a halt.

"Can I help you?" I said throwing my hair over my shoulder, eying down three handsome boys.

"Yes you can. You see my friend here thinks you are insanely hot, and wants to ask you on a date but he is too chicken," the boy motioned to his friend, kicking up his longboard.
You see, he had these intimidating big brown eyes, and this smirk. Not even like a killer Harry Styles, Dylan O'Brien smirk. It was like calling you closer every time he looked at you. He had this beautiful jawline that you could cut through steel with. And sadly, we didn't talk anymore. Can you guess? Ha. Bet you did.

"Uhm hey," the shy boy said, "My name-"

"Yeah cool seeya around," I turned on my heels and strutted off.

"Oooh damn," Jack Johnson laughed at his new friend, picking up their skateboards and heading home.

I can't believe that. Those two always get on my last nerves trying to talk to me. I know I'm the one pushing them away but, clearly, I do NOT want to talk to them.

Nearly in the middle of the woods, a few park benches were set out. I swung my bag off of my back, and stretched my legs out on the bench, taking up the whole thing.

I really don't know where to begin. Well first things first, today is a Friday! Woo hoo! No work tomorrow! Better yet I get to sit on the couch and catch up on American Horror Story! Anyway, work was boring as usual. Working at a bookstore in the middle of summer is Totally my definition of fun. Of course you get no business, so it's like doing nothing for money, which is pretty good! Anyway, I ran into my old friends and tried to hook me up with the new kid who just moved in.

I clicked my pen and slid it in the pocket of my jacket.

I checked my phone for any messages and one came up

Gabby: hey boo! Come home soon! This new girl just moved in a few weeks ago and she is hanging out with me! You should soo meet her!

Me: totally! See you in 10 minutes!

I got up from the bench and started to walk back through the woods.

*10 minutes later*

I walked up the driveway and through the front door.

"Ew you're back," my oldest biological sister Kristen shouted from the kitchen.

"Nice to see you too," i sarcastically remarked, smiling.

I walked past the refrigerator, grabbed a orange, and walked up the stairs to her room.

"Oh Payton! Over here," Gabby shouted from her room across the way. I threw my bag on my bed, and began to peel my orange as I walked to Gabby's room.

"This is Siobhan, she just moved in this past July, and her family is coming to dinner tomorrow night!" She said cheery.

"Hey! Nice to meet you!" She smiled warmly. She had dark brown hair that was half down her back. She had deep hazel eyes, and a warm smile. She had the perfect personality, and I could actually see her hanging out with us in the future.

"I'm gonna sleep, see ya tomorrow everyone!" I laughed, went to my room, shut the door, and went to bed.
