I got a request to draw ttenebris_'s OC Cyan, and I decided turn it into a mini tutorial for y'all because I felt like it!
Step one: General shapes, composition and blocking in. Large brush with opacity at 60%

Step two: Refining the sketch, in order to distinguish different parts of the body and to clean up a bit.

Step three: Lineart. Done with a thin pen.

Step four: Flat colours. I use a combo of the paint bucket, the select tool, and the gradient tool.

Step five: Add an overlay gradient layer, colour the line art and done!
