A/N: So that's Derick Ryder. Hope y'all like this story so far. I'm really trying with this one.
-Cami's P.O.V.-
I walked through the front doors to the school. My locker wasn't far from my first class. So that made things easier for me.
When I reached my locker I had hoped that Becca would be waiting for me like she usually did. But the only person there was a guy. He was cute but not someone I had ever really talked too. I'd hear that he had just moved here and already earned the title of the school's 'badass'. Although I could not for the life of me remember his name.
I opened my locker pulling out the textbooks I needed for my classes before lunch. As I closed my locker and spun the combo lock, I noticed he was staring at me.
"Hi..." I tried. He just continued to stare. "Um...my name is Camille but everyone calls me Cami."
"I know who you are, Anderson. Although I feel as if you don't have the slighted idea who I am, do you?" He smirked at me. I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Um...sorry I don't. At least not really."
"Figured. Ryder, Derick Ryder." He said giving me a half smile. I continued to blush and turned walking past him.
"Well I guess I'll see you around, Ryder." I called over my shoulder as I walked to me first class before I was late.
By lunch time, I was still searching for Becca. I hadn't talked to her since Saturday when everything happened. She wasn't answering my texts or calls. I needed to know what was wrong and for her to be honest with me.
During my frantic search through the cafeteria, I ended up bumping into something hard. I looked over to apologize when I saw Derrick looking at me.
"Why if it isn't Anderson. What a shock to bump into you here on this side of the cafeteria." He smirked.
"Why because I'm, what most would consider, 'popular'? I don't believe in those stupid labels." I hadn't meant to snap but when it all came flooding out I regreted it. "Sorry. I just can't find my best friend.." I mumbled.
"It's totally cool. I have that effect on people. Your little friend ran out as you came in." He said leaned nonchalantly against the wall.
"Thanks.." I said mumbled as I rushed out of the cafeteria. Just as the doors closed behind me I caught a glimce of Becca slipping around a corner further down the hall. I took off running after her.
When I finally caught up to her she was trying to sneak out the side doors of the school. I grabbed her by her arm and she just looked at me.
"Talk." I demanded sturnly. She looked uterally surprised I was there and hurriedly looking around.
"I can't, Cam. I want to tell you so badly but I can't." Tears were sliding down her face. Not being able to help myself, I pulled her into a hug and we just stood there.

"So what do you wanna watch, snot rocket." I asked Dani. He was laying in the middle of the living room floor staring at the ceiling.
"I wanna watch you burn in hell. That's what I wanna watch." He groaned. I had eaten the last of the Reese's peanut butter cups with my container of frosting. Which I guess pissed him off.
"Well that's not gonna happen, seeing as I'm gonna be the prettiest angel in Heaven not the hottest demon in Hell." I laughed. He groaned again this time throwing a pillow at me. I ducked and it knocked the vase of flowers of the side table. It crashed onto the floor.
We both just sat there frozen hoping what had just happened had not. I looked at Dani then back at where the vase used to sit. We were so dead...
We both cleaned up everything we could. Then were trying to think of a way to save ourselves. I thought of something after about ten minutes. I could just go buy another vase that looked identical to it.
I ran grabbed the keys to my truck and pulled Dani out the door with me. We stopped by a flower shop. Some how we got lucky and they had one left. Although the flowers were different that didn't matter.
I payed for it and hurried out the door. I bumped into someone causing me to drop the vase. Just as I thought I my life was going to end, the person I ran into caught it.
I let out a breathe of air I had unconsciously been holding. I smiled and looked to thank this person when I saw it was Derick.
"I'm starting to think your stalking me. It wouldn't be the first time for me. But what do you expect when you look as good as me." He gave me his classic smirk and raised an one of his eyebrows.
"I'm not stalking you. And thanks for caughting my vase." I replied. Why is he suck a cocky ass? He's got one over sized ego if you ask me.
"No problem, Anderson. I guess you'll see me around." He turned and walked off. I rolled my eyes before heading to my truck.
**************
Dani and I put the vase of flowers on the table. I sighed and we both plopped down on to the couch. Neither one of us talked for the next hour.
Mom got home, snapping Dani out of his sleepy daze. He got up and left the room. I didn't care where he was going seeing as he was no longer my responsibility.
"Awe you guys got me new flowers." She cooed. I tried so hard not to roll my eyes.
"Yeah we thought you could use some new ones. The others were wilting." I replied. My thoughts wandered to Becca. What could be that terrible that she can't tell me?
I can sometimes be a bit persistent and overly dwell on things but still I was just worried about her. What if something awful is going on? I'll talk to her later I guess.
