At first Kibum had a hard time figuring out what was night and what was day down here, when he first arrived, since there was no sun.  Over time though he figured out how to tell, without the need of the scale thing.  The sky got a bit lighter in black whenever it was day and everything almost became pitch black when it was night.  He could also sense when it was supposed to be night and he needed to be asleep.  Today was no different, as Kibum read he took a quick look out his window to see that the sky was becoming darker in black as night came.  Patiently he waited, the other god would come soon and he can't wait.

Just as he thought of him two sharp knocks came on the door.  Kibum closed the book, got off of his bed, and went over to where the door was.  He then turned the knob to open the door, finding Minho was standing on the other side.  Smiling Kibum said, "I'm ready to go whenever you are." He was putting up a confident face but on the inside he was nervous.  What if the king didn't want him anymore and wanted to be rid of him?  It was a stupid thought, but one that terrified him more than anything.  Doubt is a monster that effects everyone.  It doesn't matter if you're a god or not, it'll still come to you.  He was almost doubting this to be a good idea when Minho put out a hand towards Kibum's direction.  The king smiled sweetly as he said, "Let's go then." That silenced any doubt the young god had as he took Minho's hand.  The king has proved himself many times that he wouldn't just abandon Kibum, this was the proof right here.  If Minho didn't care about Kibum being near him he would have started walking away not looking back to see if the young god was following or not.  Without further being said both gods left to walk down the halls.  If Kibum made their fingers intertwine in the hand hold then neither of them said anything.

The place Minho ended up showing Kibum was a grove of blue roses with black stems that was behind the palace.  Minho went on to explain to Kibum that these were probably one of the first native flowers to grow down in the Underworld and actually survive.  How it was among the first flowers he planted with Jinki when they were both making the garden.  Then Minho told him that before his plan of going up to the surface came into being he would always go back here to relieve his maddening stress.  The scent of the roses always managed to calm him down.  Now though it's just a good spot to occasionally look up at the sky or just rest.

The next thing they both knew was that they were laying on the ground, their eyes to the pitch black sky and shoulders close to touching.  A comfortable silence fell between them as they continued to look up.  It was broken when Minho said, "Hecate is finished with making the immortal body, the only thing that needs to happen his for me to sign off the reincarnation forms and then your friend is free to take the body as his own before heading to the surface." Smiling Kibum replied, "Good, it's about time he and my brother were reunited." He then felt eyes on him after he said that.  Looking over he saw that Minho was looking at him.  He became a bit self conscious, "What?" The king responded, "Nothing, it just makes me happy to see you smile.  It suits you more than a frown." Kibum's heart fluttered at the compliment.  Biting his lip he looked back up at the sky.  It's now or never, he thought as took a deep breath and sat up.

Looking down at Minho he saw that the other was looking right back at him, watching his movements carefully.  He sighed before saying, "I have something I need to tell you.  If I don't do it now, I may never get the chance to do it ever." The king looked at Kibum in concern at the serious tone in his voice.  Sitting up quickly Minho asked, "What is it?" They were too close Kibum realized.  Their faces almost a few inches apart, making his throat close up in nervousness.  However he swallowed down the nerves and calmed himself down in order to say, "You remember the wager we have and the terms?" Minho nodded, "How could I ever forget?" Kibum knew it was rhetorical so he didn't answer.  Continuing on he said to the king, "Well I think it's time for it to come to an end early." Minho looked terrified at that.  Seeing this reaction Kibum quickly said, "No, it's not what you think." He placed both of his hands gently on the sides of the other's face, "Just hear me out and then I'll let you speak, okay?" The king hesitated for a bit before nodding in agreement.
