" What the fuck Angie? " - I whisper yelled in at her.

" Shut up, you'll see in a minute " - she nervously answered.

" Are you sure you are not going to kill me? " - I questioned - " I mean you know, that I know you like just a day, and you're taking me somewhere weird in an almost closed hospital.. at night..right?

" Just shut up.. please, if we're going to get caught it's going to be because of you. "

"Whatever "

After about 5 minutes of sneaking besides doctors and the personnel, Angie stopped in front of a wall.

" Angie, just wow. We spent 5 minutes sneaking around and everything was for a damn wall? "

"It's not just a wall, and now please shush. " She looked nervously around and gently pushed the right side of the wall. " Let's just hope no one is inside. "

The wall rotated under the pressure of her hand as she pulled me inside by my healthy arm, and turned it back on its previous place.

" Whoa " I took in my surroundings.

We stood in an enormous white room with no windows or doors. The only source of light were the lights on the ceiling and walls. The room was filled with hundreds of hospital baby cribs, with numbers on them. They were connected to stands filled with wires and packs of fluids and in them laid tiny newborn babies. They were slowly breathing their heartbeats showed on the monitors next to them. In the pin-drop silence, I heard a steady long beep. It was one of the monitors' screens. The baby's heart stopped... it didn't make it.

I turned back to Angie, which stood behind me, with tears in my eyes. She knew I needed no words and just nodded. The tears in my eyes doubled.

" Come. We need to hide, the nurse will come shortly, I know a place to hide. " She explained as she pulled me into a tiny supply closet, hidden in the wall.

When we entered, I turned back to her. " Weren't you suppose to lift my spirit? Not to make me cry even more... "

" I'm sorry Sky.. it wasn't meant to go like this.. but I couldn't predict 69 would die... And.."

" You call them by numbers?! " I almost shouted.

" Shhh " She covered my mouth horrified.

" Angelica is it you in there? " A voice asked

" Shit, quickly, go hide behind that big stand in the corner." She whispered.

" Yes Mis Cloudent, it's me! " She answered in her normal voice. " I just dropped some of the sanitizer gel buckets!" Her face cringed at her lame lie.

" Ok, I'm coming to you" The woman answered again.

Angie quickly threw some of the buckets on the floor, while I hardly maintained my laugh at her actions. Moments later a tired mid-age woman walked into the room in her loose nurse uniform.

When she entered she glanced over the room and picked one of the buckets Angie a moment earlier threw on the floor, gently putting it on the shelf in front of me. I shot a nervous glance towards my friend and hoped the woman didn't see me.

Angie read properly the glance I sent her way and addressed the nurse, who was looking over the room.

" Mis Cloudent it's ok, I can clean up by myself, you should take care of 69. " She offered, whilst she shot a nervous glance towards me.

" You're probably right, but anyway you shouldn't be hanging in the supply room so often, the boss will kill you when he finds out.

"Thanks for the tip Mis Cloudent, I appreciate your help" Angie politely answered.
