I crawled after the mysterious man, as he led the way through various hidden paths into the nearby woods I didn't even know were there. I noticed a well-hidden beautiful white horse in the bushes, alongside with a campfire and a tent. I just assumed it was whoever it was hiding space. He was probably a merchant that passed by, so I didn't question it. All the way we went he had turned his back to me so unfortunately I never saw his face. When I finally started wondering how long will it yet take, we reached the beginning of the forest, still turned back to me, with hands in his pockets, the man in black pointed my way back.

 – This dirt road will lead you to a small pond, go left, you should pass by the barbershop go the first road right then the second road left. You should come out on the left side of the main square.. – he nodded slightly to himself – Got it or I should repeat it, little miss? – Although I could not see his face at the moment I could swear he smirked.

 – "And what gives you the sureness that I will listen to you? I know my way around Mister Black." –. I smirked back - Two can play this game - added in thought.

– "You didn't look like you knew you're way when you were in that garden, little miss. – He pointed in the direction of the Turners' house.

– "Don't.Call.Me.Little.Miss.. – I shook my head - .. I'm not like all these spoiled little royal brats, that have everything in their lives dictated and served on a silver plate, I'm not selfish I do not think the whole world turns around me, and I most supposedly I'm not someone fake, I'm just me, well... Scarlett." – I snapped back. For a split moment, he looked taken away by my outburst, but in an instant, he was back to his bitchy state. – "Nice speech over there, litt...

– "Do not mister Black." – I snapped. – Little... – He further tempted.

– I'm leaving immediately before I do something to you, Mister Black – I said with gritted teeth. He didn't waste a moment and burst into laughter. – You to me little miss? – He grinned - I would rather think it would be the opposite way. – He continued chuckling.

I was certainly tired of his kiddy talk so I swung my leg as high as I could and with all my strength I kicked him into his mighty behind.

By the looks of his face palming the dirt road; I would rather assume he didn't expect that. I playfully threw with my apple and smirked – "I'm sorry Mister Black, I assume I didn't hear you properly." – I grinned.

– That's what you get when you pull someone out of trouble. – He snapped at me – Not even a stupid thanks or I am happy for your help. – He was pissed off hardcore.

I just passed by him and playfully skipped down a nearby road, still throwing with my apple. I chose I had to finally thank him because even though he was an ironic jackass, he still did save me from trouble. I turned around just to see him getting up and dusting himself off from the dirt. – Thank you for the ta... – I froze mid-sentence as my deep green eyes met his black ones.

And by black I don't mean just carbon black, I mean the color of the darkness in the deepest parts of the forest, combined with the navy blue of the ocean. They send quivers down your spine and sucked all the air out of you... There was yet this one thing I noticed about them; they looked completely emotionless, they were dull...But when you looked deep into them it was like you could see all the emotions he hid behind his stone mask. His eyes were the mirror to his soul.

After a moment of silence he just noted one simple sentence;

"You're going the wrong way, little miss "
