The Crossed Paths

I met almost everyone who was a part of the childrens hospital and ensured them that all the funds will be provided and the royal family will fully support them with anything they need.I have always loved helping children and oldage homes you can say I have a special place in my heart for them I love how innocent and real they are I was talking to the authorities and some other guests at the ball when Mr. Chairperson introduced me to his nephew .

Well I could say that the ball was going smoothly until Brandon dropped out of nowhere.Yess he was the nephew of chairperson he took my hand and sofly kissed my palm without removing the eyecontact . I feel he knows his way around girls and definitely knows how to make their heart throb.

He was wearing a tuxedo with a purple bow tie I will not deny its a bit cringy or you could say coincidence but how could he possibly know which dress I am wearing may be I am overthinking .

during the whole group conversation we were having he stared at me and almost checked me out I have this feeling that he is going to make a move anytime soon maybe it is a part of his plan to ruin us but how to stop him is the real question and he knows how he makes me feel with all that chep tricks as I was thinking chairperson and his wife went to greet more guests and it was just us.

He was staring at me with those pretty eyes of his to break their intensity before it started really melt me I started a conversation

"So you never told me your uncle owns the hospital"

"well beautiful you never asked all you do is work,work and work ."

"we have to finish the machine before next month" as was saying he stopped me by covering my mouth with his hand " Can you please stop talking about work for sometime"

"Elle you need to live a little bit I understand that being a royal restricts you to do a lot of things but you need to learn how to make most of  it from what you have . Elle are you really going to live the rest of your life like this ? think and change before its too late and yes one more thing you look breathtaking today if you start dressing like this people are going to be hospitalized ."

that's when it stuck me he actually opened my eyes and I realised that even I can not stop myself from falling for this handsome prince charming and no matter how much I tell myself that he is hiding something from me but somewhere deep inside me I know I have already fallen for him and things like these make me fall even harder for him, no man before him has cared for me like he does ,my thoughts are interrupted by his phone when he looks down at the caller Id he tenses up I peak into it and see that the name of the caller is something like Mrs.H he excuses himself and goes out to pick up the call . Maybe it is from his boss or his partner but one thing is clear the realtion between both of them is not smooth.

Not soon enough after Brandon left to attend his call my worst fear came true DANCING I hate it plus with this dress it becomes more challenging, one fine gentleman whom I remember talking about the opportunities that the hospital has for expanding its sources asked me for the first dance . Well  it would be a lie if I said I was the bad dancer amongst us as this  man was even bad than me he kept on stepping either on my dress or my feet . God knows how long will this tourture last that's when I see Brandon walking towards us he politely asked me if I could join him for a dance.

"so started dancing without me huh?" he asked with a slight hurt look which I knew was all acting

"you were busy on the call with your girlfriend so I thought why disturb you"i said mockingly

"well now hold on there who told you it was my girlfriend it could be anyone? are you jelous?"

"i know you don't have a job except for the organization which is again a part time job unfortunately your parents are no more so they are out of the list that leaves  me with your friends it could be them but i highly doubt as you got tensed as soon as you saw the caller Id"
