Taehyung's pov

New city, New place, New people and new life. I smiled to myself While entering the apartment where I'm going to live from now on. A way of excitement filled in me as I entered the apartment while staring at the new surroundings in awww. It's not a luxurious one but an old apartment. I came from my village just because of my scholarship in the best university here.

I had my back pack filled with some of my stuff. I kept dragging my suitcase case which was a little bit heavy due to all the things my parent's stuffed in it.

My dad said that he would help me In shifting and all the stuff but I denied. I want to do all by myself. I've been with my parent's till now even I'm old enough to live independently. I don't want to be dependent on them for each and every thing. I want a change. I want to Live newly. So I just came here alone without anyone.

As far as I remember my room's on the second floor. I saw the doors of the elevator in the apartment were closing as I was busy in gawking at the new surroundings.

"Stop!, stop!" I yelled out loud but the person in elevator kept staring into the space without doing anything. She's wearing a black hoodie and her hands were inside her pockets. She must be a resident here . I rushed hurriedly with my luggage but alas I'm late.

Finally after reaching my floor I placed all my stuff into my room. It's not a big one but it's more than enough for a single person like me to stay. I hope that I can get used to this. I miss my parent's but I'm happy that now I can live by myself without being a burden upon them.

I strolled down the neighborhood to get a part time job so that I could earn money for myself. I got one too. In a coffee shop.

There's no bed for me to sleep on as I'm habituated to sleep on the mattress placed on the floor. It's already night and I laid my back on the mattress spread on the floor.

Closing my eyes I tried to sleep but the noises coming from the upstairs aren't letting me to have a peaceful sleep.

I can hear some weird noises like glass shattering and furniture breaking but slid it off as I need to wake up early in the morning. Tomorrow's a big day for me. I need to get myself ready for it.

Many days have passed. I think it's probably been 2 weeks since I'm here. It's good. Being alone is good but I miss my parent's a lot. I'm busy with my studies and the part-time job I had in the coffee shop. Everything is fine except for one thing. The strange noises coming from the room upstairs haven't stopped.

Again I heard something. Normally I used to shake it off from my mind except for now. I don't know why, but I paid a little bit concentration on it today.

As usual I heard noises like everyday but today I heard someone's voice in particular. A girl's voice. Her voice wasn't normal. It seemed like she's in pain. Deep pain. Is she crying? As I heard her voice trembling. A wave of pang striked my heart. And my feet made it's way to the upstairs.

I stood right in front of the door. The room which was right above mine. I gave a slight knock on the door hoping everything would be fine.

I heard someone's footsteps from the other side of the door and there stood a girl with hoodie and sweatpants covering herself from top to bottom.
