No one really knew who she was - other than seeing a glimpse of her holding onto Crocodile's cloak when he was about to attack Whitebeard, she really didn't have any sort of presence at all. She had nothing really distinguishing about her - no straw hat, no scar and certainly no bizarre hair colour. In fact, if she were to go into any town - she would certainly be mistaken for a passing civilian. So it was a rather large shock when she whipped out what looked to be holographic screens out of nowhere and started interacting with them like it was the most natural thing in the world. No matter how advanced technology was, it certainly wasn't on the level to have screens floating out of nowhere.
However, that wasn't even the most surprising thing that she intended to showcase today.
Intent on blocking the pirates from approaching the execution stand, the Marines had raised the walls inside Marineford; blocking Whitebeard and his allies from advancing further. Not even an attack from Whitebeard himself was able to shake these thick barriers. But right after Luffy had jumped the wall via Jinbei's water stream, Flora had just about finished her purchases for the day; and had inwardly decided that it was about time for her to do some rash interference with fate.
As much as the system didn't want her to personally change the course of history - it had nearly no problems if she outwardly sourced her help to several thousand pirates. With Oars blocking one of the gates from rising and a bubble-coated ship that looked remarkably similar to the one that just sank, she and the rest of Whitebeard's crew were steadily making their way towards where Ace was. She looked on as the giant old man with the crescent shaped moustache threw out an attack that swept hundreds of Marines off their feet. The man grimaced, subconsciously reaching out to stem the blood that was pouring out of his body. Instead of the familiar sticky substance that he knew all too well, he met a cool small hand which in inadvertently had pressed into his wound. He looked down, meeting the eyes of the unfamiliar Flora who stared right back at him.
"Say..." she spoke. "This isn't technically me altering the story line is it?" With confusion and hesitance etched on his face (also some very protective 'sons' about to stab her from every which direction) she started her first 'interference' with the world. A green glow surrounded her hand, the cautious Whitebeard jerking back instinctively with his other hand poised to stab her through. It wouldn't take much effort at all to run his naginata through her body, would probably be even easier than shoving a hot knife through butter, if not for the strange sensation that made him want to look at what she was doing. When she retracted her hand, he almost gaped in disbelief. His wound, a stab mark that went through and through, had completely healed - the only thing that would have given an inkling towards his previous injury, would be the blood trail that now had no beginning.
"Now," Flora said, inducing silence from all angles. Even the Admirals from afar could sense something was wrong when almost the entirety of the Whitebeard pirates went quiet.
"Would you say that you're good to go?" The old man's eyebrow raised, his free hand skimming over where the wound used to be. His muscles twitched, familiar with the fact that they were supposed to be injured - but they weren't. It was a peculiar feeling. He looked down to the small girl who had a smug look on her face, three rectangles of text twirling around her as she loftily sidestepped away from an incoming rubber missile.
Flora, on the other hand, was quite proud of herself. By healing probably the strongest man on the battlefield (who was in favour of Ace not being executed), he would be able to save Ace - putting her in less danger of having something happen to her. Sure after completing the mission she would have quite a lot of paperwork to deal with but at least paperwork wouldn't leave her bullet wounds and filing for a new body. The system in all its buggy glory, would take at least three months to get her a new body - which if experience from the other time she had been unfortunately gifted a giant hole in the middle of her chest, meant that she would be carrying a mop and bucket around wherever she went for a while.
However what she wouldn't realise until after her departure from this world, was by healing Whitebeard from his wounds - she had inadvertently restored him of his previous wounds, making him much stronger than he should of been for his age. If he never fell in battle from his wounds, that meant that his children wouldn't, in a moment of sheer panic for his health, take their eyes off their opponent. With his renewed strength and vigor, Whitebeard was able to completely obliterate his enemies with ease - the 465 injuries that he was meant to receive in his previous timeline reduced significantly, no longer enough to take his life. In that single whimsical moment, Flora had saved the Whitebeard pirates from irreversible injury, sleepless nights and death - though no one would know it until much later.
Whitebeard chuckled, clenching and unclenching his fist as he mentally conducted a self-body check. This little girl, how amusing her powers are. He leaned back, his hand on his head and naginita for support as he let out a hearty laugh. The sound of his laugh for the Marines would forever become the sound of representative for the black stain in their history, but for right now - the pirates could only hear the sound of hope. Hope that this entire battle would work out, and they would be able to go back to the sea and journey on. That they would be able to take back their brother, showcasing the glory of pirates to those damned Marines.
Sengoku fumed, turning towards the execution stage and barking out a single order. The executioners simultaneously raised their swords, fully reassured that Whitebeard or any of his allies would not be able to race towards them in time even if the Marines allowed them to. In that split second, a scream shook the battlefield.
"STOOOOP ITTTTTT!"
