(Santana's POV)

My eyes slowly opened as I woke up from my sleep. I felt a lightweight on my legs. There was someone in the bed with me. Then it hit me. Brittany stayed over. I smiled, regaining the moments from last night. After we kissed, we didn't really talk about it. My mother made us dinner. We watched Sweet Valley High before we eventually fell asleep together.

"Are you awake?" I heard Brittany whisper.

"Yeah," I smiled. "How long have you been awake?" I asked her.

"About an hour," she turned around and faced me.

"Why haven't you got up?" I raised my eyebrow.

"I didn't want to wake you," she placed her hand on my cheek. There was a sudden knock at the door.

"Coming," I sighed, getting out of my bed and walking to my door. I gradually opened it and saw my mother standing there.

"I'm heading to work. If you girls need anything, you know where everything else is," my mother smiled at both of us. She then winked at me, causing me to roll my eyes. I walked back into my room and closed my door. I turned around and jumped back onto my bed.

"So uh, what do you wanna do today?" I questioned her.

"I was wondering if you would like to go on a date," Brittany tilted her head.

My heart skipped a beat, "L-like a date, date?" I blushed.

"Yeah. If that's okay," she looked into my eyes.

"I would love that," I smiled. But then I remember, "Uh, Britt, what about Artie?" I asked her.

"Oh, um, I still haven't figured that out," Brittany whispered. I looked down at the sheets that I was sitting on. Brittany placed her hand on my chin, pushing it up. We locked eyes. Brittany leaned in and kissed my cheek, which made me turn red. I got up from the bed and walked to the door.

"Pancakes, okay?" I asked Brittany.

"Obviously," we both laughed. I made my way to my kitchen.

After about ten minutes. I flipped the pancake one last time before placing them all into two separate plates. Brittany walked down with my hoddie and my sweatpants on. "Smells great," Brittany stated. I grabbed the rainbow sprinkles and placed them on the table as well as the maple syrup. We sat down at the table together.

"Ooo, sprinkles, thank you," a smile spread cheek to cheek. Another ten minutes past and we finished eating. I placed the plates into the sink and washed them. We walked back upstairs and laid back on my bed. "So, are we going to Breadstix?" Brittany asked me.

"Duh," I replied. We both laughed. I still couldn't believe I was going on a date with Brittany.

Just before 1:00 PM, Brittany's phone started to ring. I looked at the contact. Artie. I cringed. "Uh, um, Britt," I said, nudging her phone towards her.

"Give me a second," Brittany grabbed her phone and walked outside my bedroom. I heard her speak on the phone. I couldn't bear to listen to what they were saying, but I couldn't stop myself. "I can't come over today. I'm going out with Santana," I heard Brittany say. "Yeah. We're going to Breadstix," I couldn't hear Artie's side of the conversation. "Yeah I'll come over later today," That felt like a punch in the stomach. "Me too. Bye," Me too? Is she really saying that she loves him? I walked back over to my bed and waited for Brittany. She walked back inside. "Sorry about that," she smiled.

"It's fine," I responded with half-smile. She jumped on my bed, moving over next to me.

"You okay?" she asked me.
