After college, Sarawat's band, CTRL+S gets offered a record deal because they had immense potential. Due to Sarawat's looks and guitar prowess, they already had fans so the record producer thought it would be a super bankable idea.

Record Producer: Now we talked about it, kid, and we plan to sign you and your band. But there's a catch. You have to break up with your boyfriend first. Think about it, you will have an extra hard time in the music industry if you are already committed to someone. Not to mention, you being in a same-sex relationship will not be accepted by society.
Sarawat: Thanks for the offer but I don't need to think. You can look for a different guitarist. Fuck this shit, I'm out! (Sarawat then rips the contract, throws it into the air, and slams the door as he walks out)

So instead, the record producer talks to Tine, asking him to break up with Sarawat. Tine really loves Sarawat and since he doesn't want to ruin Sarawat's career, he complies even if he knows that by doing so, he will break his own heart.

One day, Tine just decides to move out of their shared apartment without saying goodbye. Tine went to the US because he was offered an internship there and Sarawat thought that was the reason Tine left, when in reality, he left in order for Sarawat to have a music career. Tine went with Fong by the way. Fong had the same internship. They lived together while Tine was in the US. Actually, Fong had long been in love with Tine but he never confessed. He thought that now that Tine and Sarawat had broken up, he finally had a chance. Ofc, he was wrong.

(2 yrs later)
One night, he heard Tine crying so he hurriedly entered his room.

Fong: Tine, are you okay?
Tine: Fong *sniff, sniff* I miss him.

Tine continued to cry and Fong was there to wipe his friend's tears. Fong then hugged Tine and he could feel himself tearing up as well. He didn't have to ask to know it's about Sarawat. It had always been Sarawat even though he's the one with Tine these days. But, all he wants is for Tine to be happy even if he's not the reason for his happiness.

Fong: Do you want to go back to Thailand?
Tine: Nah. He probably hates me already. I was the one who left...
F: But you did that for his own good.
T: Still, I left. I don't think he's going to forgive me. Let's just finish this internship first, then we can talk about going back. I'll be fine.
