Is this really happening?

Chapter 7

Andrea's pov

I couldn't believe I actually kissed Jenn this time. She doesn't
Know how long I've been waiting for that.
When our lips met, I swear I felt this feeling that not even kian gave me, when I used to kiss him.
But it only lasted a few seconds before Jenn pulled back.
At first I was disappointed that's she pulled back, but really shocked and scared when she said it was a mistake.
When she left I started to tear up because I didn't know what she meant. Like did it mean she didn't feel the same way or she didn't like the kiss at all?
The worst possibilities were going through my head.

After I got myself together I went to my room. I heard Jenn turning on the shower, so I called Arden to pick me up early for the Christmas party.
Arden arrived after 15 mins, right when Jenn got out of the shower. She was still in the bathroom so I left a note on her bedroom door.

As I was getting into the car she noticed that I was crying.

"Andrea what happened? Why are you crying?" She asked worried. She put her hand on my shoulder.
"It's J- uhh it's- it has something to do with my family." I say trying not to be so obvious.
"Andrea come on what's wrong?"
She says as she drives to her house.
(Jenn and Andrea are the only ones who live together)
"Can we talk about this when we get inside?" I asked.
She nodded and we walked inside to her room and sat on her bed.
"So what really happened? Was it Jenn?"
"Yea, remember when I told you I had a little crush on her but it wasn't a big deal? She nodded.
"Well the crush I had on her grew so big it hurts when I think about her now! Arden!" I yelled.
"Then why won't you just tell her how you feel!" She yelled back.
"Cause Arden, its complicated. It's like she loves seeing me suffer! First she teases me, then she makes me jealous, and now we kissed and she said it was a mistake!"
" It sounds like she doesn't want her heart to be broken" she said, while putting her hand on my back.
"Wait a second!" She screamed
I lifted my head from my hand
"what?"
" You guys kissed?!" she screamed again.
"Yes and it was amazing, Arden!
You wouldn't understand." I tried to explain.
"You're right, but I do know that, you don't let a girl like her slip away."
" So what are you trying to say?"
I asked confused.
" Tell her there is nothing she should be afraid of, that she can trust you."
"But why wouldn't she trust me?" I asked still confused.
"Cause look at you. You are hot, girl. You can get any person you want and you just broke up with kian. She might think you're using her as a rebound."
"Okay, I think I know what to do."
