It was raining heavily on the streets and I was curled into a ball under an overhang, trying to stay dry. My (c/e/c) ears were flat on my head as my (e/c) eyes were shut tight, attempting to shut out the cold. I hear footsteps walking closer to my hiding spot and my ears perked up to listen more intently. Soon, a man with black hair and captivating crimson eyes stood above me with an umbrella in his gloved hand. "Are you okay, miss?" His smooth voice asked me. I nodded, remaining quiet. "You don't have a home, do you?" he asked himself before picking me up. I yelped and gripped onto his arm to ensure that I wouldn't fall. I must have fallen asleep on the way back to his house, because when I woke up, I was in a large bed that was covered in a red bedspread. I looked around to see the black walls that were decorated with skulls and crows. "So you're awake. That's good. I made you some tea." the man who took me in smiled at me and placed the teacup beside the bed on a black side table. "Where am I?" I asked, my voice barely audible. "My room. Master Ceil wouldn't approve of you being here, so I hid you in my room. I hope you were comfortable." He told me. "I just simply nodded as I reached for the tea. I suddenly felt lips on mine. I looked up at the man who was looking down at me, smirking. "You're such a cute little kitten."
