Blue Lantern of metropolis

Dimitri's musical tallent.

In school we see Dimitri walking through the halls as he began to sigh as he began thinking of his family.

Dimitri: *snaps out of it* Dude, pull yourself together, they may be gone but they want you to have a better life. Aw who am I kidding, I really miss them.

He then saw a room that had many instruments in it.

Dimitri: Hello.

He then went inside the room as he looked around and then noticed a banjo as he picked it up.

Dimitri: Well class doesn't start in a while and no is around, i can play some music for a bit.

Then he began to play music on the banjo as he didn't notice that there was a microphone in the room for the speakers of the school.

Dimitri: *Singing* We don't hope for makin' things better All we want is to keep it together Every day is a rainy day, no changin' the weather This kind of life has made our hearts as hard as leather And all these tears are from the dust in our eyes And all these years just keep on passin' us by And all this misery makes it hard to deny We all know that we're just born to die That's the way it goes when you're just born to die

As he was singing everyone in the school began to hear it.

Kara: What's that?

Jessica: It's singing.

Dimitri: *singing* I hear the voice of a whip-poor-will singin' She don't know all the comfort she's bringin' We all know the sound of when the truth is ringin' Yeah, it hurts your soul just like a bumble bee stingin' All these tears are from the dust in our eyes And all these years just keep on passin' us by And all this misery makes it hard to deny We all know that we're just born to die That's the way it goes when you're just born to die

As ge was playing the banjo everyone were wondering where it was coming from.

Diana: Where is this music origibating from?

Jessica: *Sees the music room* The music room.

As they all went to it they all looked to see dimitri singing but he had his eyes closed to noticed they were here

He then put the banjo down as he then opened his eyes to see everyone was in the room.

Dimitri: What the?! What are you all doing here?

Zee: We heard singing and got curious.

Kara: What was that song? It sounded sad.

Dimitri: It's a song i listen to sometimes and i know that life is sad sometimes so I kinda like it. I... better get to class.

He then walked out of the room leaving everyone surprised at his talent.

Jessica: Who would have thought he could sing like that.

Hal: Do you think he knows the muffin man song?

Kara: Hal you are so stupid it's unbelievable!

Jessica then looked at Hal and slapped him in the back of the head.

Hal: Ow!

Jessica: For a blue lantern he sure knows a thing with music.

Hal: A blue what?

Jessica: A blue lantern, you know how our rings use willpower, his uses hope.

Hal: Oh.

After school we see Dimitri at the park as he looks up at the sky.
