Chapter 9

We silently walked out to the car parked in the space from last night and got in. I sat down and adjusted the seat and mirrors, and buckled my seat belt. I pushed on the brake and turned the key and point of no return by kansas blared through the speakers and we did hesitate to dance.
"This song is the best!" Exclaimed sam
I laughed as we pulled out of the parking lot.
We drove along main street until we saw a good diner.
Sam and I both went into the diner and ordered bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes, and eggs. We sat at the nearest booth until our order was ready. We decided it was taking too long so we went back to the car.
Dad called just as I opened the door. The contents of the phone call included him finding another hunt with luke and ashton. I told him about sam and dean
"Winchester?"
"Yeah"
"Good, those boys are great hunters and i know their daddy, you'll be just fine.
"Alright dad, well ive got to go"
"Okay, good luck and stay safe anabelle, I dont need to see you in the hospital."
"Alright, love you dad"
"Love you too"
I hung up the phone and walked back to the car.
"Hey, I just got off the phone wiyh my dad anf he had to go on another hunt with my brothers so he said that we could work together on the case"
"Awesome!"
"Okay well I will make a quick run to the bathroom and grab the food."
"Sounds good"
I honestly dont know why I said I had to go to the bathroom, I really didn't...
"Well, I might as well wash my hands"I thought to myself
There was a rather loud crashing  noise outside of the door, I figured that someone dropped something or someone tripped.
I finished up and put my hair into a pony tail. I thought it looked nice and it was out of my face. I went to retrieve the food and couldnt believe my eyes.
I grabbed my knife out of the back of my pant line and took stance toward the lamia. It glared at me with its wide, hunger crazed eyes and it laughed. It was the most blood curdling laugh ive ever endured. It soon ran out the back door of the diner into the thick forest beyond the clearing. I wouldhave ran after it but sam was in the car and had no idea what happened and I would have never caught it.
