we drove along the stretch of road and carefully listened to the radio in silence. untill the song faded into Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog." I'm pretty sure the sound that i made when i recognized the tune wasnt human.
sam let out a laugh from the back of his throat " i take it you like this song?"
"is it obvious?" i plafully said and i let the gas pedal sink into the floor.
within minutes we had arrived at the motel, after i pulled up to the garage that corresponded with our room number i put the car into park and jumped out and walked over to sam's door and pulled it open.
"whats going on?" sam asked confused
"well i need someone to pull the car into the garage!" i said playfully
as sam got into the drivers seat i walked over to the door, key in hand and leanded down to unlock it. i heaved the heavy door over my head and across its tracks and stepped aside so sam could pull my heart throb of a car into the small space after he put the car into park i retracted the door back into its place.
He got out of the car and tossed me my keys
"Thanks babe" i said jokingly as sam obviously blushed
i unlocked the door to the room and headed inside, i tossed my keys onto the table and headed over to the fridge.
"Want something to drink?"i asked sam "coke, pepsi, mountain dew, dr. pepper, monster, redbull?"
"i'll have a redbull please, and thank you" he said pollitely
i tossed him a redbull "LAME!" I yelled as the can flew into the air. and i cracked open my favorite monster, energy drink and took a large gulp.
sam just chuckled, i set down my drink motioned to sam to follow and he did. we went into the back bedroom,mine. and i opened my closet to reveal the small safe the hotel had available for our use. i put my hand over sams eyes as i turned the dial to the combination. sam did that adorable little half smile and laughed. when the dial clicked signaling the unlocking of the safe i yelled
"YES!, I KNEW I DIDNT FORGET!"
i pulled out the three knives and handed them to sam i heard him set them down on the table as i shut the safe door and spun the dial. i turned on my heels to meet sams eyes, very close too my own. he snaked his hand around my waist and leaned.i closed my eyes as i leaned in closer to him and before i knew it his lips crashed into mine. i lifted my hand up to become tangled in his long, brown hair and the other around his neck, as he pulled me closer with his free hand making its way up to nape of my neck. he pulled out of the kiss hands remained where the were stationed. and i rested my forehead on his nose, and gasped for my breath. "thanks babe" he chuckled.
