It's been two years since Izuku's parents left him at the Orphanage. He's now five years old and he hasn't been adopted yet. Ever since he was left at the Orphanage, he'd get special help from a staff member. He now knows sign language, and the Orphanage provided him with a hearing-aid for his right ear.

Izuku was supposed to start kindergarten this year. Well, it already started. Izuku didn't start until the third week because of his disability. He needed to be assigned to certain teachers to help him learn.

For the three weeks he was taught at the Orphanage. Subjects such as Math, English, and Art. Izuku loves art. When the worker would tell him to draw something, he'd draw it in really good detail. And he was only five.

He also succeeded in other subjects too. Of course since he was young, he started out with easy problems, but he got more experienced.

When the day of him going to school came, he was escorted to the classroom by his home room teacher. Izuku brought a backpack with him, and it had things such as notebooks, pens, pencils, art books, and a spare hearing-aid.

When Izuku walked in with the teacher, he was very shy. He hid behind the teacher's leg while she introduced him a bit.

"Alright class. We are welcoming a new student today. This is Izuku!" She said. She then bent down in front of Izuku.
'Izuku, could you introduce yourself more, please?' She signed. Izuku was hesitant at first, but then grabbed a note book out of his bag.

Izuku has prepared for this. He wrote down sentences on pages of his notebook so the other kids could understand.

'Hello. My name is Izuku.'
'I really like to read and draw.'
Some of the kids started to laugh a bit. The teacher shushed them.
'When I was born, I was born...'
'Deaf.'
Some of the kids went wide-eyed. Some didn't care, but some were interested. One kid in particular. He had blonde spikey hair and red eyes.
'If you don't know sign language, please communicate with me through this notebook. But, if you want to talk to me face to face, please talk slowly so I can understand what your lips are saying. I can hear very faint sounds with this hearing-aid.'

'Very good, Izuku. Why don't you go sit in front of Katsuki over there, okay?' The teacher signed, and then pointed where to sit. Izuku nodded and went to sit. Katsuki gave him a look before he sat down. Izuku just smiled at him.

"Alright kiddos. Treat him nicely. You can have the rest of class to play." The teacher said. She signed it too so Izuku could understand. All the kids got up to go play around, while Izuku stayed at his table and drew in his art book.

He didn't notice, but Katsuki got up and slammed his hand on Izuku's table. This startled Izuku, making his charcoal pencil fall off the table. He tried to pick it up off the floor but Katsuki got to it first, holding it above his head.

Izuku looked up and tried to reach the pencil but was having some difficulties.

"Ahn....nn.." was all Izuku could say. He didn't want Katsuki to break the pencil because it was a special charcoal pencil his great-grandma gave him before she past away.

"Haha! Can't reach it can you?!" Katsuki said. Izuku could make out some words from his mouth but understood what he said. Izuku stopped trying to reach for it and went to grab his notebook. He wrote some words down and showed it to Katsuki.

'Please give it back. I don't want it to break or anything because it's special to me..' He read.

"Psh. Really? How can I dumb pencil be special to you?" He teased. Seeing that Izuku understood he wrote something down again. Izuku looked annoyed with him.
