Chapter 4 - Waking up in a Strange Place

Niall's P.O.V.

I woke up and my head ached badly, everything was blurry, where was my glasses, I could hear the beeping of a machine and everything is white. I must be at the hospital. Wait what happened again?

"Hello Niall" huh? Who said that

"Oh sorry for the intrusion, but I'm Dr. Mackinaw and you're at the hospital, you are lucky Niall, to have made it here in time, you could have had a concussion or permanent damage, you're just super lucky you're girlfriend brought you here in time-"

"What girlfriend?" I cut him, what is he talking about?

"Oh no doctor you must be mistaken, I'm not his girlfriend" it's a female voice, who is this? It sounds like, Sofia? Oh yes, Sofia, the girl that smashed my car the other day, and her........ Boyfriends that beat me up, I remember now, that's why I'm here......

"Sofia, is that you?" I ask

"No Niall." She answered

"Then who are you? Stay away from me. Give me back my sight!" I demanded answers

"Umm... How about I leave you two alone...." The doctor said and I heard the door close. After the doctor left, there was silence, until the girl sighed.....

"Oh Niall, I'll just clear everything up, okay?" I nodded

"Okay so basically, I am Melissa Andrews, top notch student and I'm am a curricular directer at our college. Yes, that's where I found you passed out and stripped down with bruises all over you're body, nearby you was I think probably you're luggage and inside I found these" she handed me something

"You're glasses were broken, and these are probably your contacts"

"What does the case look like?" I asked her to make sure they were my contacts, because using someone else's would be disgusting.

"Oh, well it's basically an average contacts case but designed with the Irish flag."

"Oh okay then it's mine"

I took the contacts from her and put them on, finally vision, I looked up to come and meet the eyes of this beautiful girl, she had long blonde hair that would probably reach her mid back but I couldn't really tell because it was neatly tied, big beautiful blue eyes, oh and she was tall, she was stunning.

"Whoa" I didn't mean for that to come out

"I know contacts are difficult at first but you get used to it, just like me" oh well I didn't mean the contacts but good save though

"So thank you for helping me who knows what would happen if you didn't save me, you are like my Wonder Woman" I can see her blush

"Oh wait did I mention I also found these in your luggage, it's your I.D. And me being the curricular director, I took the liberty of checking you in your room and getting your schedule, and it's all in your dorm, also your roommate is this fine chap named Luke Hemmings, he is a very good fellow, it's just his friends you have to watch out for"

"Oh thanks" I looked her straight in the eyes and gave her a soft smile, she was amazing.

"So are you ready to check out of the hospital?" Oh yes I forgot I was in here, so I gave her a silent nod.

After an hour or so we arrived at the campus, I looked beaten up with a few bruises and maybe scars, it kind of hurt, but what hurt more is the fact that it was Sofia's boyfriends who did this to me. When we arrived, everyone looked at me, maybe the news spread out. I carried a few of my bags which was located in the lost and found, and Melissa helped me carry a few of them. We had a short tour a the campus and I saw them.... those 4 boys. I shuddered with fear. I remember everything, the pain, their faces, those words... They stared at me and gave me a death glare, then they approached me.

The curly one talked first

"Hey there Melissa," He forced a smile and looked at me.

"Well, who is this guy here, hey there, BuUDdy" I am baffled, I mean, why is he doing this, to scare me, doesn't already understand I don't want any business with Sofia, so please stop.

"Hi Harry, This is Niall Horan he is a new student here and the other day we found him stripped on the quad, you wouldn't have anything to do with it do you? Hmmm..."

"Why, I am surprised that you would assume that, anyways, hello Niall" He stuck out his hand, I think he expects me to shake his hand, I don't understand, well to be polite, I did shake his hand and he suddenly pulled me into a bro hug. Wait, I am confused, wh-why is he doing this? Then I suddenly understand. He whispered into my ear.

"Oh it's Niall eh, remember, if you tell anybody, you're dead."

"Well, the lads and I have to go to Sofia now, so bye"

"Oh okay, don't be too loud" Did Melissa just say that?!

"Melissa c'mon, there's 4 of us and she only has 3 holes. No but for real we're picking her up for class, jeez, why don't you just tell everybody.."

"Bye Harry" I blurted out

He snapped his neck at me. Oh no, what did I do?!?!, but he just gave me a dirty look and left along with his crew.

"What was that all about? Eh Niall?" Melissa was talking to me, but I didn't notice, I just shrugged.

"Oh well, maybe we should head to your room already, you know to get settled in" I nodded.

We arrived in my dorm, and I can see that my roommate hasn't arrived yet. Hmm.. I think I'll take the left side, I sat on my bed, It wasn't too comfy but it was alright.

"So if you're settled in, I guess I'll head to my dorm, I'm just 5 dorms down if you need me. B-bye Niall" Then she left, well I guess I'm all alone now.

I sighed.
