Part 9: If I killed someone for you

  Kari sat on the edge of the bad. He stared at the loaded gun in his hands. Slowly he stood and made his way upstairs.
  "The hell are you doing here?" Koi glared at Kari not noticing what he held.
  "I'm staying a week. Now shut up." Kari turned to the second set of stairs. Koi rolled his eyes and turned to make another snotty remark. He dropped the glass in his hands seeing the gun Kari was carrying. He reached to his pocket and pulled out his knife.
  "What's your problem-" Kari was thrown to the ground and pinned. He smirked and his voice deepened, "Horny, are we?" He felt the cold of a blade against his neck. He pointed the gun at Koi, reacting quickly.
   "You are disgusting." Koi pressed the blade making a thin line of blood.
  "I'm the disgusting one?!" Kari laughed, taking the safety lock off the gun, "You are the disgusting one here."
  "I can doubt that you bastard."
  "Koi Tagame. Famous American model, Actor and singer. You didn't come here for school Tagame, you came because you wanted to escape." Kari smiled at the look in Koi's eyes. "You ran away. From your family, your friends...Ari." Koi pressed the blade against his skin in rage.
  "How the hell do you know about Ari?!"
  "It's all over the American news. Koi Tagame confirms relationship with Ari Rays." Kari rolled his eyes, "You're cheating on Ari with a slut. Someone you don't truly care about!"
  "T-Thats not true!" Koi blinked away tears.
  "Then what is? Are you cheating on the slut because you don't like Ari?" Kari challenged him.
  "What- No!!"
  "So both of them are your toys. You never cared, never will. Your so desperate for someone to love you that you will even pretend to love them."
  "Shut up!!" Koi raised the knife ready to drive it through Kari.
  "STOP!!" Kari and Koi looked back to see Ghost. "What the hell is going on?!"
  "He was going to kill you!" Ghost noticed the gun Kari was holding at Koi's head.
  "And this fake wasn't ever going to tell you about his girlfriend." Kari shoved Koi away and dropped his gun. He touched his neck gently wincing from the cut.
  "Koi did you cut him?!" Ghost turned towards Koi.
  "I wanted to protect you!"
  "BY KILLING HIM?!" Ghost was furious at both of them. "Kari c'mon. I'll patch you up." Kari followed Ghost to the bathroom leaving Koi alone.
 

Koda finished with the bandages and sighed. "Kari, why the fuck are you here?"
  Kari sighed and leaned against the sink. "Really wanna know?"
  "Why else would I fucking ask idiot."
  "Yuri. She wants you dead, so she's paying me to kill you." Kari looked in the mirror and started washing off the blood.
  "Not a huge surprise...but don't you usually get these kinds of jobs done quicker?" Ghost looked at Kari confused.
  "What, do you want me to kill you?"
  "No! Of course not!! I'm just...confused."
   "Why? Cause I couldn't work up the nerve to hurt you?" Kari scoffed
   "That and... also, that night- You weren't like you where before. You praised me...and actually warned me." Ghost blushed and looked away.
  "...I'm not going to do it."
  "What?"
  "Hurt you, I won't do it. I can't." Kari took a deep breath, "and I'm sorry. For everything I've done. It isn't right and never will be."
  Koda looked at Kari. "Alright. What happened?"
  "What do you mean?"
  "Your not just going to apologise for all of that outta nowhere. What happened?"
  "Nothing! I just-...I needed to apologise."
  "I'm not dumb. What happened?!" Kari brushed past Ghost and stormed out of the bathroom ignoring his questions. Koi glared at him as he dissapeared downstairs.
  "At least I know he's changing. Maybe we could be friends again, who knows." Koda sat on the counter.
  "The hell?! You're seriously thinking about being friends with- with that monster?!" Tagame slammed his hands on the counter on either side of Ghost.
  "Everyone deserves a second chance Koi. Doesn't matter who, everyone deserves one." Ghost wrapped his arms around Koi.
  "You're too perfect for this world..." Koi lifted Ghost up and carried him up the stairs to his room.
  "Tagameeee!"
  "Yes?"
  "Can we watch a movie?"
  "Sure." Koi laid Ghost on the bed and went to grab his remote.

  Ghost cuddled against Tagame watching Godzilla. He loved Koi's room and spent most of his time in there. He rarely slept in his own room anymore.
  Ghost jumped hearing Koi's phone buzz.
  "Ughh! What do people want?!" Koi reached over and grabbed his phone. "It's a notification from the school."
Ghost crawled into his lap to read the email. Koi rested his head on top of Ghosts and read.

  Dear students,
We are very sad to announce the end of the school year is soon. We are asking for all uniforms to be turned in by Tuesday. If  you're a part of any extra curriculum activities, please see your coach and/or your manager for further information. Thank you, and we hope to end this school year on a good note.

  "Huh..." Koi yawned. "Hey you're on the boys volleyball team, right?"
  "Yeah!" Ghost smiled.
  "Means you're gonna turn in your uniform then."
  "I know..." Ghost sighed and wrapped his arms around Koi.
  "It's nothing to be sad about, Shouji."
  "I know...I just don't want it to end."
