"It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be." - Albus Dumbledore

"Wake up! Wake up!" Rose shouted in my ear.

I opened my eyes and saw her already dressed in her robes and right in my face. I jumped back at the proximity. She threw her head back and laughed.

"Asher is already in the Hall," she explained,"you have ten minutes before I come back up here." With that she left the dorm to wait in the Common room.

I got out of bed and changed into my uniform and made my way down the common room. I saw Rose tapping her foot impatiently. I rolled my eyes.

She turned around with her arms crossed and eyes narrowed, "took you long enough."

She marched up to my grabbing my wrist and pulling me out of the common room. If it's one thing I had learned about her all of these years it's she hates being late.

Rose dragged me through the halls causing heads to turn our way and I am sure that my face is like a tomato. As the Great Hall came to view I saw Professor Dumbledore- Gryffindor's Head Of House and the Transfiguration teacher standing by the door passing students their schedules.

"Good morning Professor Dumbledore." Rose called out as we got a couple feet from him.

He looked in our direction and there was a twinkle of humour in his eyes, "Good morning Ms. Darcey and Ms. Grimaldi here are your time stables."

Professor Dumbledore handed us both our timetables. I gave Dumbledore a sheepish smile as I was dragged away to the Gryffindor table.

We sat down across from Asher, who was already eating. No surprise there.

"Goof monring." He said with his mouth full.

Rose crinkled her nose in disgust," don't talk with your mouth full."

Asher slightly blushed and gulped down the rest of the food that was in his mouth.

"So, what classes do you guys have?" He asked as he put two pancakes on his plate.

"Well, looking from my schedule and Galina's," Rose said," her and I share Ancient Ruins."

"While you and I share every other class." She continued. Asher nodded his head.

We ate in silence before heading off to class. I looked at my timetable and my first class of the day was DADA.

I made my way to the classroom and saw that Riddle was already in his seat. Not surprised.

I rolled my eyes and sat far away from him as possible, as I sat down I dropped my bag  loudly onto the floor causing Riddle to jump and turn around glaring.

I stared straight ahead ignoring him as the class began to full in.

"In the fifth year Ordinary Wizarding Level examinations are taken; as such, students are spent learning new topics and possibly revisiting the past four years of lessons (depending on the teacher). As part of their History of Magic O.W.L., students must sit a written exam one of the questions asks to describe the Wand Legislation"Professor Binns explained.

Groans were heard throughout the classroom, while I was taking notes on this.

"And for extra credit you must also write about Goblin riots of the eighteenth century; Statute of Secrecy breach; Formation of the International Confederation of Wizards and explain why the Warlocks of Liechtenstein refused to join." Binns continued.
