It was almost dawn and Jeff and I were cuddling in our cozy bed, I leaned over.
" hey jeff, can you sing for me?" I asked, I loved the sound of his voice
" I can do anything you want love" he said, then he thought for awhile. After a moment of hesitation he grabbed my hand and held it to his heart
" I love you nova, your the only one I want for the rest of my life" his voice was sweet and filled with sincerity, " I love you too jeff, and I always will, I'm yours forever I promise" I smiled up at him and felt his heart beat faster at my words, I took my hand away and put my ear over his heart to listen, we sat there just like that for I don't know how long until I snickered,
"what Is it nova?" Jeff asked confused, I looked into his eyes and said " everyone says people who kill have no heart, yet here I am cuddling my boyfriend who, well, kills people, and I'm listening to his heart beat louder then anything I've ever heard, it's beautiful truly" he stared at me in shock at my words then spoke quietly
" my heart is corrupted" he lightly pushed me back and put his hand to my heart " yours, it's strong and beautiful, I have the heart of a monster, and I don't wanna corrupt your precious heart" his words became sad, I patted his head, which was now listening to my heart beat and spoke
" my heart is already corrupted jeff, and I don't care if it gets weaker because I'm with you, I love you and my heart only grows stronger the more I'm with you! My heart is corrupted because I am in love with a killer and I alway will be" jeff looked at me with tears filling his eyes, he buried his head in my hair and I could feels his tears lightly falling on my neck, " I love you Jeff" I said " i love you too nova" he smiled into my neck as he spoke my name, and with those last moments I fell into a deep peaceful sleep.
