In a cream coloured cot lay an adorable bundle of joy. Tiny fingers curled around the soft teddy bear, cheeks round and chubby.

"Miguel, my family has found out about us and I need to leave now, that way it's safe for you but if they find out about her, they will not stop until they have her. You need to put her some place safe - she is of both of our blood and we don't know what she can do, but when she does find out, we better pray no one else does too." A shaky voice breathlessly whispered.

Tears welled from deep inside and coursed down her cheeks, her sunflower yellow dress drowning in her salty waterfall. Her eyes bore into his, full of longing and hope.

"Of course mi amor," hesitantly he agreed, "however when she is older, I'll have someone looking out for her."

"And when she is of age?" she questioned.

"Then, I will bring her back."

The sweet cacophony of the birds chorused the sun into the sky, whilst the sounds of millions of people awaking tried to over power the soothing tune.

However, I had not slept.

Zuri's chilling words had kept me from catching any sleep, instead it had taken me to work.

4:30am

I had been here since 2 in the morning and still no one had arrived, not even the captain. I hasitily searched the police database for any information and that's when I found what I had been looking for...

There it is again. Reyes. Zuri would only have had the information from her brother and of course it had came from them. The same people who killed Nico. My blood boiled at the thought once again, over the months my pain had numbed but my bubbling anger was here to stay.

I searched for more people Tyler knew and created a list of everyone that could also be related members and made sure to collect their contact details, addresses and last known locations. Usually, I wouldn't be able to find any of them but lucky for me I knew just who to go to.

I got into my black and white Range Rover and starting making my way there.

Where is she?

I waltzed through a corridor which held a dozen priceless antiques. Leading to a pitreseque ivory dining hall, with curtains of blue silk embellished with golden embroidery and topped off with a chandelier.

Upon entering the adjoining play room, the din of a group of kids yelling and laughing filled my ears. It seemed to look like a children's birthday party was being held, a girls one at that, I could tell by the baby pink banners. That's when my eyes locked onto all the commotion.

In the middle of the room,

Stood the Little Mermaid.

And when I say stood, I mean trying to stand.
