The Concert |Tape 4

''Sorry I gotta go, see ya maybe sometime.'' Jake said and went away fastly, leaving a complelty confused Michael behind.
''See ya.'' Michael muttered and followed the way Google maps showed him in silence.

Around half an hour later, Michael finally arrived at the place where the concert was going to happen soon, like it was supposed to happen, Jeremy was waiting nervously for Michael infront of the entrance where you have to show the tickets.
The moment Michaels vision met Jeremys, Jeremy let out a sigh of relief.

''Michael!'' Jeremy smiled but Michael just looked away while walking to him.
''Here's your ticket,'' His boyfriend gave him the tickets and Michael sighed a bit.
''Come on, we don't have much time anymore.'' Jeremy tried to keep up his smile and pulled Michael after him.

Not long after that, they both were already in the crowd searching after their other friends, which turned out quiete impossible.
''Can you see them somewhere?!'' Jeremy screamed because of the loud noises from all those people around.
''Nop!'' Michael screamed back and continued looking around for the others.
''Well shit it begins any second, wait I got an idea!'' Jeremy yelled and they hurried to the front, expecting the girls there.
''Do you-'' Jeremy began but then the crowd began to cheer because the band appeared at the stage.
''Oh my god is that Christine?!'' Jeremy asked confused and surprised which got him a weird look from Michael.
''Do you only see Christine?!'' Michael asked screaming, his eyes at the person who just sat down at the drums.

''What?!'' Jeremy shouted and Michael gulped.
''Jake and Rich! Don't you see them?!'' Michael shouted back and Jeremy gasped.
''Oh my god I didn't even recognise!''

Jake now grabbed after the microphone and waved at the crowd while taking a deep breath before talking.
''Hey Asheville!'' Jake began but got interrupted by loud screams and cheering people.
Rich and Christine which also had a microphone, but 'body mics' because they both played instruments while singing, looked nervously at the crowd, still not used to all of that.
''I hope y'all are alright and ready for an unforgettable night!'' Jake continued and put the microphone back into the microphone stand while grabbing after his electric guitar.

This night really was unforgettable.

''Do you think they can see us?!'' Jeremy shouted excited but Michael just raised an eyebrow and screamed back.
''Look around, I doubt it!''

When they started to play the first song, Michael looked sometime at Jeremy just to see that he was literally staring at Christine who was playing the bass, which didn't make him feel any better.
''Wait oh my god, since when can they sing?!'' Jeremy suddenly asked Michael who winced a bit.
''Wasn't Christine in the theatre-'' Michael began but Jeremy cut of his words.
''I don't mean Christine, I mean Rich and Jake!''

''Run, baby, run! Don't ever look back they'll tear us apart if you give them the chance Don't sell your heart, don't say we're not meant to be! Run, baby, run! Forever we'll be, you and me!'' The band sang loudly and the last piece of nervousness fell comepletely off them.

The band 'Distraction', consisting of Christine Canigula, Jake Dillinger, Rich Goranski and some girl called Harley Misery, gave each other the promise to choose songs in which they were able to find a meaning for themself.
Funny how that ended.

''They are really good!'' Jeremy grinned and Michael looked back at the stage, not recognising how his view was 99% of the time focused at Rich, what wasn't unnoticed from Jeremy who looked concerned at his boyfriend.
''Yeah I know right!'' Michael agreed and laughed a bit.

The moment they finished the first song, Christine decided to look a bit around in the crowd without any reason until she wided her eyes when she saw some familiar faces.

What?! She thought and had to stop herself from laughing.

Fastly, Christine searched eye contact with Rich to show him who was all there right in the front but he just stared at some indefinite point.

What's up with him? Christine asked herself worried but just shook her head and focused on the next song.

''And I want these words to make things right but it's the wrongs that make the words come to life! Who does he think he is? If that's the worst you got, better put your fingers back to the key!'' Especially Rich felt those lines and gave his best with playing everything correctly, knowing he had a solo in the next song because he insisted for getting it.

''It's a matter of time before we all run out When I thought he was mine, he caught him by the mouth! I waited eight long months, he finally set him free! I told him I couldn't lie, he was the only one for me. Two weeks and we had caught on fire, he's got it out for me, but I wear the biggest smile!'' Rich sang his solo part and felt in this moment every single emotion, anger, regret, sorrow and even happiness.

Jake who also already noticed the others, he obviously knew they were gonna come because of Chloes Instagram and Michael, looked back at Rich and frowned.

When was the last time he sang that like this? Jake asked himself but just continued playing and nodded with his head to the beat.

''He's good!'' Michael shouted to Jeremy who just nodded, a bit of jealousy in his eyes which Michael didn't recognise.
''Did you find Chloe and the others yet?'' Michael asked Jeremy but Jeremy shrugged and shook his head.
''Nop, not yet.'' He answered and Michael slowly nodded.

''Chloe this is amazing!'' Brooke squealed excitedly and looked at Chloe who was also in a really good mood.
''I know!'' Chloe shouted and laughed a bit, not caring about Jenna who filmed the most of the time the concert.
''It's so weird that we know them in private!'' Brooke grinned and danced a bit to the music.
''Yeah I know, maybe we can talk to them later somehow.'' Chloe said her thought out loud and looked at Brooke who nodded happily.
''Yes!'' She agreed and screamed something indistinctly.
''OMG guys, this song!'' Jenna shouted and finally away her phone for getting the good vibes.

''There's something in your way and now someone is gonna pay and if you can't get what you want, well it's all because of me!''

''Yes yes yes!'' Brooke screamed and jumped a bit, enjoying every single second of this concert the fullest.
''If you'd have told me this are gonna be Rich, Jake and Christine I'd have laughed about you!'' Chloe admitted and laughed a little.
''Do you think they are dating someone?'' Jenna asked the other girls and Chloe looked at the strange girl which was also at the stage.
''I don't think so but maybe Jake or Rich dates the girl there, I always forget her name.'' Brooke answered and shrugged.
''Halsey.'' Chloe suddenly said and looked at Brooke.
''What?'
''Halsey, that's her name.''
''Oh right.'' She smiled a little and then focused at the stage again.
