I smiled at Hermione's question. Before I could answer the dark teacher scolded her.

"Hermione are you incapable of holding off questioning until after dinner. 5 points from Gryffindor."

"Now Severus-"

I cut off the teacher by laughing. Blaze, Pheobe, Kyle and Mister Greenwood chuckled or giggled as well. They all stared at me as I died laughing. I finally calmed down.

"Oh my god. I remeber when my teacher said the same thing about me." I smiled "Honestly, I like conversing during dinner. But to answer your question a Pokemon is our version of your animals."

"What do you mean like?" Susan asked

I smiled and pulled out a poké-ball. "This is a poké-ball. This is was we use to catch and store our Pokemon."

"How are they stored?" Terry piped

"They are changed from a physical form into a bundle of data."

"Does it hurt them?" Neville asked looking a little pale

"No it doesn't."

They all looked at each other. The kids looked like they wanted to ask something. Luna smiled

"Can we see one?"

I looked over at the Mister Greenwood as he stood up. He pulled out his own poké-ball.

"Unlock, KeeKee." He spoke

The poké-ball opened and a flash of white light erupted out. I smiled as KeeKee appeared in midair above Mister Greenwood's food.

"KeeKee is a Klefki. She is Fairy type Pokemon." Mister Greenwood chuckled at the amazed expressions of the children

"He looks like a set of keys." Ron said. KeeKee zoomed up to him and started scolding him. "Ah! What did I do!?"

"You called KeeKee a he. KeeKee is female not male." Kale sneered

I kicked him from under the table and smiled at Ron and KeeKee. "Don't take it too personal KeeKee, he's young and can't yet tell the difference between the male and female Pokemon."

KeeKee stopped and floated back to Mister Greenwood. Mister Greenwood chuckled and placed a hand on KeeKee.

"Pokemon have very complex emotions just as people do. In fact, KeeKee is a very strict and serious Pokemon. She rarely tolerates nonsense. But not all Pokemon are like this. Lily's Sweetheart for example is a very kind and sweet Pokemon."

"When do we get our own?" Draco asked impatiently

"An excellent question young Malfoy." Mister Greenwood praised. "To answer your question, in a weeks time. Today is our first day in introductions but before you may continue we must send a letter to your parents so they may be present the day you get your starter Pokemon."

Everyone started to chater excitedly amongst themselves. I noticed Harry was not chattering.

"What about those of us who don't have our parents?" Susan asked

"Well, then your legal guardian must be present. And if they can't make it then you must speak to Lily to solve the issue."

Not long after he said this most students had finished. The heads of house stood up and instructed the students to follow them back to the dormitory. I leaned back in my chair closing my eyes.

"Excuse me. Miss Lily?"

I opened an eye to see Harry. He looked nervous to speak to me.

"Yes-?" I dragged out the s to make him squirm a little

"I was wondering about the guardian being present...my guardians so to speak would never-" I zoned Harry's word out and looked at his actions. I had seen these kinds of actions before....from abused children.

"Harry dear." I said sitting up "Are your guardians abusive?"

Harry flinched as his eyes went wide. I hit the nail on the head. I sighed and motioned for him to sit. He looked ready to bolt out.

"Harry, are you worried I might tell someone about this?" He looked at me with big round fearful eyes. Another hit.

I got up and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Would you like me to take an oath of secrecy?"

"You can do that?" Harry asked quickly. That had given me all I needed to know.

"Yes, as a counselor I am allowed this. However if the threat to child is far to serious I must tell Mister Greenwood."

Harry thought about this and looked me in the eyes. "An oath of silence...can it be broken any other way?"

"No. I can only tell what you tell me to those that you give me permission to. Other than that I am a fortress that can not give away my secrets."

Harry held out his hand. "The oath please."

I grabbed his hand. "I solemnly swear that I will never divulge that what had been intrusted to me by the one name Harry James Potter. By breaking of this pact I will suffer punishment of the choosing of young Harry."

As I spoke a seal appeared on both our wrist. Once done it faded. I smiled as he sat down. I rang a bell and a house elf appeared.

"May we please have some milk and...um...biscuits, please." The elf nodded and disappear. She appeared again with the tray and sat it between me and Harry.

"Now Harry what is the problem with your guardians."

"They don't like magic." He spoke bluntly and to the point "I-I might not have a chance to continue."

I smiled softly "ah, I see...well is there another adult figure in your life you can count on to be there for you?"

Harry looked thoughtful for a moment. "The head- Hagrid!" He lit up at he words.

I pulled out a sheet of paper. "Well then have Hagrid fill out this paper and turn it in by no later than Wednesday. Understood?"

Harry nodded and turned to leave but stopped. He looked at me a little scared. "Is the oath only for this session or can it be used in the other sessions?"

"The oath comes into play when you want it to. The choice will always be yours and only you can break it. Even Mister Greenwood cannot force me to break it. More importantly-" I rested a hand on Harry's shoulder "-I would like for you to come by more offten so we can work on your home life a bit...if you would like."

Harry hesitated but looked up at me with hopeful eyes. "I will."

With that he raced of to his dorm. I had stuck a note to his back. I sighed and glared at the shadows.

"You better not tell anyone Kyle." I growled

"I won't." Was all that came before I left to my dorm
