Sweat was racing down his face as their hands clenched around central control. His crew had already been evacuated into the safer pods as he fled with the ship. He was never going to let Void win without a fight ever! Even if he had to do it alone as he steered the ship deeper into space. If Void got his hands on the cargo there was no telling what destruction he could unleash. He groaned as the ship shook as red alarms flashed across the room. Main computer already reading off the new list of damage done to the poor ship. The ship can't take anymore of it's attacker abuse and there was no out runing them either. This fight was already lost before it even began, so it seems. He had one last trick up his sleeve but it was tricky. He quickly maneuvered his ship in front of his attacker. He smiled sadly as he gave a silent goodbye to his oldest partner. Void new his long time enemy was crazy but never do crazy to change his course to a head on collusion towards his ship. His rage was almost outsized by the explosion of the collision with his enemy ship. The size difference of the ships left his with minor damage of the fight. He slammed his fist as he let out a roar of anger from his throat. He had lost the cargo the ship carried the key of ruling the galaxy.
Dark eyes open to stars in the sky as a single moon shone brightly. The soft cool ground underneath him signified he was alive. His plan worked but he now had a more urgent matter. He had to find the ships cargo. It was only a matter of time he was discovered alive. He quickly tried to stand only to groan as pain traveled across his body. It's not safe out in the open like this, he needed cover and find it quickly. With an uproar of pain he quickly flipped himself over as another wave of pain but him even harder. He cried out and held down a sob as he crawled out of his crash site. At sometime he had blacked out and woke up behind some sort of structure. It's texture was rough and hard against him and it Left a pain in his back and neck. He was able too take on the sight of the new world. He smiled he really was in his own world now.Damien smiled ear to ear as the final box hit the ground as he stood up and stretched. The trip was long and his back was stiff from the plastic seats of the train. His family's commotion and goodbye still ran through his ears. His quaint home town now far away from his new home in the city. His small cozy apartment complex was now completely furnished. His books in perfect organization his camera equipment set away in good condition and location in the layout. His bed made up and ready for the night to come, every box was flattened ready to be thrown out, his kitchen was set up and stocked up with food. All was set up and shined as if it was meant for a king and that's what he felt like now looking over home. He checked the time and smiled as he sat down on to his couch as he opened his up his laptop as he began set to work. Damien since he was little loved watching movies no matter if it was an animation or real life film movie. He was always caught up in visual story and magic of it all. He felt the same way as to reading books of all genres of stories. He loved the camera and how it captures everything and anything. He loved how he can hold onto memories that may have been forgotten and shared as if by his own eyes. He blinked and yawned as he clicked the submit button and rubbed his eyes. He had a few ideas of getting pay while he was between jobs at the moment. He took pictures, upload content up to YouTube, edit video or pictures, and animate or draw up illustration for others.
He had a busy schedule but he prefers it that way until he was notice and hired for bigger projects with bigger pay. For now he was content, he shut his laptop and turn on the Tv as he made his way to the kitchen. Today however he felt ready for a change in routine after all it was a new day and a new place. It was a recipe to go out and explore, he smiled as he remembered about an antique bookstore passing by during the cab ride. He was excited about what laid ahead in the unknown as he sat out a jar his mother gave him before the train ride away. He smiled as he sat aside the rent money along with a bit of extra money into it. His family tradition is to give their child a jar to put away money in and save. He saved every penny he could from childhood to be here now it was satisfying to be saving for the whatever came next. With a smile he turned to the door and walked on out. That might he came home rough and Tumbling. He seemed to almost be ran over the entire time he was out, gotten lost and nearly mugged. He escaped only by kicking them in their groin as he through his weapon and pushed them down. He ran like no tomorrow and he finally made it home he ran into a fury situation. Someone's cat was on his couch as if they belonged there and at first he thought it did. That was until he saw his mother and fathers picture on the far wall. And recognized the dark hotel room as his by 100% everything but the white cat on his couch. It looked up at him and meowed loudly as it stood up and trotted over to an empty space in his bookshelf and curled up letting out a loud pur. This day sucked.
