15th: Warning

Mark's POV

"Hey mom, dad." I greeted my parents and gave them a kiss on their cheeks. "I'm glad you could come." I said.

Today's the opening of our corporation's new mall right in the middle of the metro. I'm glad that all our efforts finally paid off after a year of planning and building this, its finally about to open in a few minutes.

"I'm proud of you son." my dad said and tapped my shoulders. "I know you would do well." he added.

Although my dad doesn't directly say it, I know he's somewhat pressuring me to do well in running the corporation. He expects lots of things from me and all I could do is perform well despite the pressure.

I also understand why he wants me to do a good job. He just doesn't want all his efforts to go down the drain. My dad and mom worked their ass off for our company and I'll make sure I won't ruin it.

"Thanks dad." I answered and smiled.

"Hi auntie and uncle." a familiar voice said.

I looked at my side where the voice came from and saw Joss standing with his parents. I came closer to his parents and greeted them, thanking them for being here. I think my mom was the one who invited them since they're good friends and business associates.

"Congratulations Mr. CEO. Another achievement unlocked huh?" Joss teased as he came closer to me.

"Psh, I thought you'd never show up again." I sarcastically said, a hint of sulkiness in my voice.

Its been two weeks since he left for Singapore and a week since he came back, but he didn't even gave me a call. We had a plan to meet each other after he ca,e back but he didn't even show up for a week.

"I'm sorry Mark. I was very busy the past few days. My dad won't even let me out of the office to eat. I was stuck in the office after I came back." he explained with sincerity.

"I don't care. Psh." I said. I actually understand him, I'm just teasing him. Let's take this as my payment for him ignoring me for a week.

"I promise I'll make it up to you. So forgive me, please?" he apologized again.

But I continued to ignore him. I'm still having fun teasing him.

"Mark..." he called for my attention. I still ignored him so he grabbed my shoulders and wagged me. "Mark, stop ignoring me." he said with a pout.

"Why are you still here? Just go back to work." I said and looked away. I can't look at him right now because I won't be able to control myself and I'll burst out laughing.

"Tsk, Mark. I'm sorry... Forgive me..." he continued to plead and ask for my attention. "If you won't forgive me, I'll kneel here and shout, asking for your forgiveness." he threatened.

I continued to snub him, having fun. When he saw that I was still ignoring him, I was shock when he was really about the kneel. I quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him out.

"I was just joking Joss. You're really going to do it?" I said while laughing.

It seemed like he got what I just did so he pushed my forehead using his index finger. "You're so mean. I though you were really mad." he said and pouted.

"Hmm, I was a bit sulky but I understand. I know you have your own work to attend to." I answered.

He raised his hand and messed up my hair. "I'll try to escape from my dad the day after tomorrow. Let's eat dinner. I'll text you the details okay?" he said.
