Red String of Fate | B.E

Prologue

Two young girls are in the playground playing while their parents are having a talk with the O'Connell and Gates family.

A blonde haired ocean eyes girl named Billie run away as her best friend chase her around the grass.

A brunette haired with ice like eyes named Winry, chase after her friend who continues to run away from her.

The two settle down panting and sweating taking a break from their little games. Billie a 7 year old girl and Winrey or Win most people call her is a 7 year old girl two. The only difference is Win is a little older than Billie by 3 months.

"Man.....your are...fast." Win say panting at each word. Billie giggled at the brunette haired remark about her. "Your just slow." Billie respond making the ice eyed groan.

"Hey Bil?" Trying to get her bestfriend attention who responded with a hum. "I've been keeping this for a while now but.." Win sat up while looking at Billie.

"I like-no I love you for awhile now..." The brunette haired girl confess, closing her eyes shut, hoping the girl accept her for who she was. "Oh Win." "it's ok, I get it that your straight and all. But I hope were still friends after this?"

The blonde haired girl sat up, caressing her bestfriend cheeks."ofcourse were still friends, and I love you too for a long time now." The blonde haired showed her toothy smile "Really?" Win sequel in happiness, but also she couldn't be with Billie.

Win face turn to a happy and joyful face to a sad and frown face. "Why the sad face?" "Even if you love me, were still wouldn't be together remember? I'm going to California tomorrow and for my whole life time, I wouldn't be able to see you." The child sniffles holding back her tears. "it's so sad that I have to confess to you when I'm about to leave you anyways."

Billie made Win look at her eye to eye "Listen, even if I don't see you. You will be always the love of my life and no one is going to change that. I promise." They both smiled to each other, till Win remember something yesterday.

"Oh wait." Win search her pocket pulling out a small book and piece of red string. Billie snicker at her friend. "What is that?" Billie ask, Win grab Billie's pinkie finger while rounding the strings around but have enough to do the same to her finger.

"A old woman gave me this saying it's a destiny string, even if were far apart, never see each other, even if the string get tangled, it will never break. And destiny will soon bring us together again." Win explain finishing her rounding the string on their pinkie.

"You seriously believe that Win? I mean, what is she put poison or germ on this thing? And how much those it even cost?" Billie exclaimed to her friend. "Oh, it's only 10 bucks. Don't worry, I wash this string ok." Billie couldn't believe her friend going this far just so she wouldn't her.

"Now, we have to intertwine our pinkie and close our eyes shut and say 'destiny will bring us back, even if we're far, not able to see each other. Even if the string gets tangled, wet, burns. We will always find each other no matter what." The ice eyed explained. "Are you ser-" "please.." the girl beg her friend. Billie sigh, intertwining their pinkie together while chanted what Win just say.

They both chanted with their eyes close. Little did they know, a red glow coming from the threads slowly going to their blood vessels, reaching their hearts, connecting them.

The glow disappeared when the two opened their eyes, Billie laughing thinking this is just a child plays, Win giggled in embarrassment at what she put her friend in.

"Now what do I do of i want to go the bathroom? Would you come along?" The ocean eyed ask her friend,the girl chuckled at her. "No Bil, that will be embarrassing, I'm going to cut it-" Billie cut Win off by saying"Oh cool-" this time Win cut Billie off her sentence "But!" Win say firmly.

"We should never EVER. Take it off. ALSO. we can not throw it like trash, ok?" Billie nodded, not wanting to make Win sad or even mad, if she ever said no.

"Here Bil, you can have this book." Handing Billie the book about the red thread. She hesitated saying she doesn't like reading. But gave in, not wanting to make her friend sad.

"Billie! Winry! Let's go, the sun is going down." Billie's brother Finneas called for them. The two got up, Billie stuff the book in her pocket, before catching up with Win.

"Were going to miss you all." The two families hug one another saying goodbye to the Gates family.

Win hug her love while whispering to Billie "I love you Bil." The blonde haired whispered back the same thing. Tears slip from Win eyes making her sniffles.

"Bye!" The two families drove off to the opposite direction, where there house is. Billie's mom, Maggie notice a string in her child finger.

"Billie? What is that?" He mother ask her daughter, her brother Finneas looking over to her sister. "Yeah, what is that?" Her brother ask the same question.

"Oh, it's a destiny thread?" Billie say playing with, but still maintaining on her finger. "Destiny what now?" Finneas ask again in confusion. "Destiny thread, Win gave it to me promising to each other we will find one another again." Billie smiled.

"So your saying dear. Win confesses to you?" Her mother tease. Billie blush, trying to hide it, but her nosy brother got the best of her. "Ohh, my sister is blushing! That's a first." "Shut up Fin!"

The O'Connell's laugh at their little daughter's behaviour. "Wait, so your saying that you guys accept me for who I am?" "What do you mean dear? Ofcourse we accept you, whether your a boy, gay, lesbian, bi. We love you for who you are." Her mother say in an sweet tone.

"You know Billie, those thing doesn't exist. it's just a childish thing, thinking it's real." Her dad Patrick say to his daughter, joiningin the conversation.

"I know dad, but I can't see Win sad." "I know, I know, but I'm just saying. I'm not saying that you should take it off. it's cute to think my daughter finally found love." Her dad pretending to sniffles to piss her daughter off.

"Stop it dad!" The whole family laugh on their way home. Teasing the 7 year old girl.
