Weeks later

Billie's POV

Me and Win had became close for the past few days. She's really different and special I can tell.

But the book is still stuck in my mind and the incident with her in the photoshoot. Speaking of photoshoot, she could be my soulmate.

I mean, the red string, the tingle I felt and....no, probably it's just my exhaustion playing with me.

"Billie, you good there?" Hearing Win vouce snap me from my thoughts. I nodded while sipping my green smoothie.

"You've been spacing alot lately. What's on your mind?"

"Nothing, just some stupid cat memes."

Hearing her giggled beside me was making my day, we were in my friend Zoe house. We were waiting for her, cause she some shit to take care of downstair and we two are on the balcony. Enjoying the view of California.

"Hey Bil, are you single?" A sudden question came out of her mouth.

"No, I have a boyfriend dude." I said and she became quiet when I answered. She let out a quiet "ok."

"What about you? Do you anyone you like?" She shook her head while having a smile on her facing, it seem like she's daydreaming about this person.

"I can't date anyone, I made a promise to this one girl from my childhood that I will stay loyal and she will be the only one I ever love." She proudly say, I chuckle at the thought of that.

"Are you sure, maybe that love of yours have already found someone else? it's time to move on dude." I patted her back, but she just laughed it off telling me that this person wouldn't break a promise. Ever.

"Are you sure about that?" I give a goofy grin to her.

"Yeah, dude, she's really beautiful to be honest, she had blonde hair, ocean eyes like your. Honestly she almost look like you." I gave her a wide stare the face that say are you joking.

"The fuck. So your gay?"

"BI, if I say so."

"What if that person that is you Billie, would you date Win?"

"Ah! What the fuck? Where'd you come from?"

We didn't even notice Zoe was already here, eating a bucket of cookies and cream ice cream, simply listening to our conversation very closely.

"Fist of all, whe-"

"Answer the question." Zoe cut me off while pointing the spoon infront my face, seeing Win snickering beside me.

"I-"

"Honest answer lady, I I don't want any lies, remember I can tell whether you lie or not." She say, taking a spoon full of the ice cream to her. I swear, why hasn't she gag yet?

"Ummm...I wouldn't date her." I say awkwardly, Zoe gag at my response.

"What!" Zoe said exaggerating her sentence.

"What? You told to give my honest answer. And I did."

"Oh my god bro, Win here is literally the most hottest girl we ever met. OMG! Bro I would be gay for her." I think Zoe is over reacting, or....she has a crush on Win.

"So your gay for me?" Win ask her....is she teasing her?

"Nah bro, I love dicks, but or hot tho. But seriously Billie. Why?!"

"I don't know, I'm a fucking ruler bro, I have a boyfriend to, I can't cheat on him."

We all stay silent for awhile, me and Zoe are having an awkward staring contest and the only sound we hear is the wind rustling the trees and Win slurping her bubbly tea.

"You do know some rulers bend?" Win said unintentionally.

"Oh for fuck sake, I'm not gay!"

"Hmmm...keep denying it sugar, cause everyone knows, the more your deny it, the more you will be." Zoe said being suspicious. My attention turn towards Win who is still sipping her drink.

She responded with a chuckle while nodding. This girl is calm as fuck.

I scolded myself, yes I'm still keeping our promise. But I haven't heard from her since the day I went to California.

Maybe Billie is right, maybe she already find someone else. No, don't think like that Win.

The more you think about things like that, it might come true, and I don't want that to come true.

"Ay!" Zoe clap infront of my face making fall back flat on my spine.

"Ow.." sitting up while rubbing my back from the stupid impact that I made...actually scratch that, she did it.

"Keep daydreaming your girl. I swear you two keep spacing out, were you two daydreaming each other? I might have to ship you two none stop."
