[Jungkook POV]

"A-Appa..?"

I couldn't think straight. The man that was standing in front of me was my Father. The person who abused and neglected me when I was a child. The person who suddenly left with no trace. The person... Who I needed the most... I was brought back into reality when I saw Father take a step towards me.

"J-Jungkook... I-I can e-explain..." Father stuttered out as I flinched and slowly moved back, my Hyungs surrounding me like a shield.

Father proceeded to slowly walk toward us. "I didn't mean to inject you with that fluid that day when you turned 13-"

"Really now?!" I cut him off, "How am I supposed to believe that from someone who happens to be my Father, a cameraman at Big Hit that is also an insane scientist?!"

"J-Jungkook, I-I'm-"

"NO! A simple 'sorry' won't do anything! It will never bring back all that lost time we could've used to spend time together! Do you have any idea on how much I've suffered through those years of being neglected and left alone at a young age?!" I yelled, making the whole room go silent. I waited a few seconds before continuing, "No! I understand that the both of us were upset when Mother passed away but I don't get why you just left me in the dust like that, instead of comforting me while I comfort you! I was going through my teenage years where everything was changing. That was when I needed you the most, your support and guidance. But. You. Weren't. Fricking. There!" I finished, quietly panting from my outburst.

I felt a warm pair of arms wrap around me and hugged me. I immediately melted in their touch. I knew that this was Hobi Hyung because his hugs always make me calm down.

Before anyone else could continue to speak, we saw the man that Father lunged towards at bring out a walkie talkie from his coat pocket and spoke.

"Security. Get these intruders out of the building."

[3rd Person POV]

The members and Mr. Jeon looked up at the doors and staircases which were soon full of Ji-Hun's men. Everyone stood up and tried to escape, but Jungkook was harshly pulled by the arm, causing him to fall back and wince in pain.

"Everyone. Except for this one.." Ji-Hun added, dragging Jungkook away from the crowd of security.

"H-Hyungs!" Jungkook cried, using his free arm to try and reach out for any of his bandmates. The nearest member that Jungkook was able to get a hold of was Namjoon. But his Hyung's arm was slammed against one of the men, causing Namjoon to lose grip on the maknae.

"Jungkook-ah!!" Namjoon screamed, trying to reach out for Jungkook again. However, he failed as he and the rest of the members were dragged down stairs to be thrown outside of the building once they reached the doors of the ground floor.

Suddenly, Mr. Jeon wrestled his way out of the crowd, successfully escaping their grasp and ran towards Jungkook and Ji-Hun. Ji-Hun noticed and ran towards the edge of large window. He tightly held Jungkook and raised a fist towards the window, causing Mr. Jeon to instantly stop in his tracks.

"Nuh uh uh~ I wouldn't take another step if I were you~" Ji-Hun chuckled, moving his fist closer to the window.

"Why... Why?! I did nothing to you!!" Mr. Jeon roared, "You've changed.. So much Ji-Hun... I remember back in high school when you said that we should become scientists and find medicines and cures for diseases... I agreed. I agreed because I wanted to do something good for the world. I believed that would've felt the same way... But I was wrong... A few years ago when we found a medicine to stop a pandemic.. You became absorbed in all the technology and power that we had that later you decided to make more and more drugs that didn't even benefit the people anymore! Why?!"

"I ONLY did it for the money. I never cared about the health of the people! I started working as a scientist because I would get a good salary! Then once I became the boss of this laboratory, I knew I had many advantages and started making illegal drugs that people would buy from us and pay us LOTS of money. I remember when you tried resigning, you dumped your ID card in the bin and left." Ji-Hun paused and looked at Jungkook then back at Mr. Jeon. "Then when it was Jungkook's 13th birthday... You were hit by a tranquilliser dart which had a chemical to make you go insane.." Ji-Hun paused again and chuckled at the pale, horrified face Jungkook had. "You got that needle full of that bright blue liquid that was delivered to you and gave it to your son. You collapsed in your bed and completely forgot about the incident." Ji-Hun finished, smirking.

Yes, he had just exposed the truth, but that was his plan all along.

Mr. Jeon clenched his fist and couldn't hold back any longer. Without thinking, he rushed towards Ji-Hun, attempting to grab Jungkook while rushing towards them. Ji-Hun immediately smashed the window, causing the cold wind to blow inside the building. Mr. Jeon tried to stop but it was too late, he slipped against the edge and fell backwards. A hand grasped his wrist and Mr. Jeon looked up to see Ji-Hun.

"It was nice working with you... Ex-Friend." Ji-Hun smiled and let go of Mr. Jeon.

"Appa! No!" Jungkook shrieked, squirming in Ji-Hun's grip.

"You will never see him or Hyungs again Jungkook." Ji-Hun laughed maniacally. A fist was thrown on his face and Ji-Hun's grip loosened and Jungkook slipped between his hands.

Jungkook was panicking, he had no idea what to do. He wanted to save his Father. Even though he was the one that caused Jungkook's life to be like this, it was never his fault. Jungkook stood by the edge of the building, took a deep breath and made the leap of faith...

Hello! I have come back from the dead! I hope you liked the chapter. I am actually pretty satisfied with it. This book will be ending soon. Maybe in 1 or 2 more chapters.
