chapter 5

I wake up with my head in the crook of Stanley's neck.

"oh your finally awake" stan said smiling

i giggled and lifted myself up. we were already at the cabin and it was just the two of us in the car, the others filtering in and out of the house his bags.

"we should go help the others" I say

"yeah" stan says as we both jump out of the car

i grab my 2 suitcases and stan grabs 3 big bags which im assuming is his. we walk into the cabin and its gorgeous.

"Whatcha guys think?" Bev asked smiling

"Its amazing" I say

"I know" bev says "so by the way there's 4 bedrooms with a bathroom for each room. there's only one bedroom left so you guys have to share is that ok? Or I could switch with stan If you dont want to-"

"Bev it's alright with me" I say "as long as it is with stanley?"

"Of course" he says

"Great" she squeals

Stan and I walk upstairs and find our empty bedrrom. The room was a decent size. It was filled with old antiques and paintings, like the rest of the cabin.

"What time is it?" I asked stan

"Its 3:15pm" he answered

"thanks" I replied and went over to what was my bed on the right side of the room.

"Bye guys have fun!!" Bevs aunt yelled from downstairs

"Thanks!!" We all yelled back and she was gone.
I started to pull my blanket out of my suitcase when stan asked

"Do you need help?"

"Uh sure" I said

And I pulled my blanket out and stan neatly set it over the clean white bedsheets

I gave him a soft smile

As we finished making our beds we went downstairs to find
bill and mike watching a movie
eddie and ben playing board games
and bev and richie building a fort

I walked over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water as stan grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl

"do you guys wanna watch a movie with us?" mike asked

we all said sure and sat down on the big couch in the middle of the living room.

"what movie?" bev asked

"t-the shining" bill answered

we all agreed and huddled up next to eachother
I was sitting next to stan because i felt comfortable around him and he makes me feel safe when there are jump scares.

I scooted myself so close to stan I was practically sitting on him.

"are you ok?" he whispered

"no. im really tired" I yawned

"oh ok" he whispered "hey um guys I think y/n and I are gonna take a rain check on the movie. y/ns really tired so" he announced to the others

I tapped him on the shoulder

"stan you dont have to go to bed its fine" I said

"Its ok I'm kinda tired myself" he responded with

"oh ok" I said and we both ran back up to our room

I got under my covers and slowly, drifted to sleep

thinking about stan

which turned into a nightmare
