Chapter 10

"hey guys wanna go swimming?" Bev asked

"sure" we all said and stan and I ran to our room

"hey y/n.." stan said as I walked into the room

"What's up?" I said

"So- you know how i wanted to talk to you downstairs earlier right?"

"Yeah"

"Well, i have something important to tell you"

"Oh ok stan. What is it?" I asked. I could tell he was very nervous. And so was I. What could he be so scared about to tell me.

"Well. I-"

"Hey stan, hi y/n. Bev is asking everyone to go downstairs so we can go outback and swim in the quarry." Eddie said, bursting in the room

"Oh ok. Tell her we'll be down" I said

"Ok" eddie said and ran downstairs

"Cmon stan" I said and grabbed his hand, running downstairs to go swimming

"Cmon guys!!!" Bev yelled

We all ran outside and down to the quarry.

It was a very large area. There were cliffs that were blocking other areas.

"Wanna play chicken?" Bev asked

"Ok" we all agreed

"Ok how about" bev looked at me and smirked. "Stanley and y/n and eddie and richie"

I looked over at her while everyone was getting ready to play the game and fipped her off
"I hate you" I mouthed to her
"I know" she mouthed back

I walked over to stan who was near the rocks.

"You ready?" I asked

" yup" he said and I got up on the rock and climbed on his shoulders.

"Ah" I said

"You okay?" He said in a concerned tone.

"Yeah I'm ok" I said

"Then let's gooo" stan said as we walked over to richie and eddie. Eddie was on richie's shoulders.

"You reddie y/n?" Eddie asked

"game ONNN" I said and stan ran over to richie and eddie as I pushed eddie but he didnt fall. He pushed back and I fell into the water as stan fell with me.

Stan rose from the water putting his hand out to help me

"You good?"he asked

" yeah I said laughing

"Sorry y/n just my boy Ed's here always has to win" richie said as eddie pushed him

stan walked away from the group over towards the edge of one of the cliffs looking at something. I swam up behind him

"Hey there" I said

"Ah you scared me"

"Sorry" I giggled

"Its fine" he giggled back

"This has been so much fun"

"Yeah. And look" he said pointing at a waterfall

"Omg its gorgeous."

"Let's go!!" Stan said pulling me as we swam towards the waterfall

We swam under it and sat on a rock

"Y/n.."

"What?"I asked

"Y/n. Can we please talk"

"Of course" I said smiling

"Y/n. I- I really like you. I think more than that. I think I-"

"You like me?"

"Ye-yeah. I know you probably dont feel the same way but that's what I've been trying to tell you. Y/n I-I- I think I'm in love with you"

"Stan-"

"I'm sorry I just has to tell you-"

"I think I'm in love with you too"
