chapter 12

stanley kissed me.

he pulled back.

"I-I-im so sorry I didn't m-mean to its just" he stammered

i quickly then smashed my lips into his. the feeling of his lips on mine made me, happy. my mind was blank. the only things that mattered was that I was with stan.

I pulled away from the kiss once again

"its ok" I giggled. "Now we're even" I said, grabbing his hand

"look at the sunset" i said "isnt it beautiful"

"Not as beautiful as you"

i smiled. i looked at him. the boy i just realized i had loved since i was 5.

he held my hand. i rested my head in the crook of his neck. i wish this moment would last forever. nothing mattered right now. nothing. i was with Stanley, the person I felt the most safe around, my best friend, my first love.

he turned and looked at me.

"y/n?" he whispered

"yeah?" I asked

"Will you, be my girlfriend?" He asked

"yes" I said giving him a soft smile and hugged him. i looked into his chocolate eyes once more. i gave him a kiss on the cheek and lay my head in his neck once more.

this was turning out to be the best weekend ever.

"y/n?" "stan?" we heard

"omg they're probably looking for us" I said

"Yeah let's go" he said, our hands still intertwined. we both junped back in the water and swam to the others who were at the dock

"where were you idiots?" Richie asked.

"we, we w- were" stan managed to say

I looked at him
"we found this really cool rock a little ways out and just hung out there for the past half hour." I lied

"O-oh we've b-been looking for y-you g-g-guys" bill said

"oh sorry" stan said and climbed up on the dock, helping me up.

"let's go inside it's like 7pm" bev said and we all went inside

"what do y'all want for dinner?" Bev asked

"PIZZAAAA" we all screamed. and bev pulled out ingredients to make homemade pizza

"i can make the pizza if you want" I said

"You sure?" She asked

"Yeah, why do you go cuddle with your bOyfriend" I said pointing to bill who looked upset.

"Thanks. And also I hate yOu" she said

"Awww I hate you toooo loser"

"IM THE BEST LOSER THERE IS BIT-"

"LANGUAGE CHILDREN" mike yelled and we all burst out laughing. bev walked over to bill and started cuddling with him.
i turned to make the pizza when I felt a pair of arms hug my waist from behind. I looked and saw a smiling stanley.
"hey" he said

"hey" i said and looked over at the losers, making sure they weren't watching. of course they weren't because they were to busy watching "scream"
i gave him a kiss on the cheek and he kissed my neck.

"your adorable" i whispered

"noooo you areee" he said in a baby voice

"i love you" i said

"I love you too" he said, placing another kiss on my neck

"I gotta make this pizza so you may have to let go of my waist" i whispered so the others wouldn't hear

"I'll help" he said and let go and kissed my forehead

"Ok"

"Now let's make this pizza!" He said in a Italian accent.

"God your turning into richie" I laughed
