Chapter ten

Sophia P.O.V

I sat up in my bed sweating and I couldn't breath. I just had the nightmare again. I did what Luca and Ash showed me for when no one is around but it didn't work.

I sat with my head on my knees trying to calm by breathing by trying to regulate my pulse. I couldn't get the air back in my lungs. My chest started to hurt really bad and I got up slowly.

I left my room and went to Luca's room. I knocked and he opened the door. It was starting to spin. He grabbed me.

"Breath baby breath." He said letting me sit in the position again.

"I..I..tried...this...my...chest...hurts" I said between breaths.

"I know baby just try to follow my heart beat." He said placing my hand on his hart.

"Luca...I...can't." I said.

"Yes you can. You can do it." He said.

My chest was hurting so bad and it only got worse.

"My...chest...it's...not...like...usual." I said and I saw Luca get worried.

"Okay baby I need you to lay down for me okay." He said making me lay down.

He pulled my hands above my head and then he took his phone. He texted someone and soon Ash was also there and dad.

Dad picked me up and they took me to the office. "It's her lung. The attacks had a bad affect on her because her lung isn't healed properly yet." Ash said.

I zoned out after that.

Ashton P.O.V

I got a text from Luca who needed help with sofie. I knew this was bad. The attacks affects her badly because her lung is not fully healed yet. If it goes on her lung can collapse again and we don't want that.

I rushed there with dad and we took her to the office. I told them my theory and I saw sofie loose focus. I placed an IV in her arm to get relaxer into her.

Once the relaxer was in she started to calm down but her breathing was still a little shallow so me and Luca checked her lungs and her lung almost collapsed again.

We got her lung stable and then we kept her on medication and fluids for now until we are sure she is okay.

"We need to keep an close eye on her lungs. Her lungs is weak right now because of the fracture it went through and the panic attacks doesn't help. She wil end up in the hospital again if she keeps getting these big attacks right now." I said.

Dad and Luca nodded and I sighed. "She is not supposed to be here like this." Luca said.

He took this hard since she died almost 6 times on him while she was in the hospital. I could see the panic on his face as I got to him. She trusts hom most in this direction because he now knows why she gets them. She doesn't know we also know.

"I'll go and talk to the others. They should be up by now." Dad said leaving.

I looked at the clock. It's already 6:30 am. "How do we keep her save?" I asked.
