A Ride into Her Past

Zach:

When I entered my office Ash was already there.

"There isn't much in the office archives as you see she entered through a contact but all I could retrieve is that she completed her high school two years back and holds no college degree."

"Ash", I said with seriousness in my voice," If you remember I was the one who hired her and I know everything those petty files can say, tell me something that I missed."

"Ummm you see I don't think this should have been present in the file exactly but",

"What is it Ashton Lynn? For god's sake, this is not the time for playing with words.", I said using my alpha command.

He shoved an ID on my face.It was her just younger more like before her shift. Her eyes were filled with innocence and a spark, it was as if even her image had her aura.Every little detail on the ID matched except her name it wasn't 'Amber Weaver' but'Andrea Isa Williams'.

I had heard the name somewhere but didn't know where it was an old ID proof and her guardian's name had been scratched out.I had to know about her but before I could ponder over my thoughts there was a knock at my door.It was her.I wanted to call her with her maiden name it was just so beautiful but I didn't want to freaky her out.

"Yes Amy", I said in a calm voice

"Oh so even you took up the nickname anyways here is the pen drive of the files you asked me to download"

"Thank you. You may leave"

And she turned and felt without. A flinch

Amber:

" Did he get to know something about me"

"No no it isn't possible"

"But the files contained a list of all Williams"

"Your not a Williams remember"

"Ya ya there is no proof left. I am and always was Amber Weaver"

I came out of my mental quarrel.I couldn't let him know anything about my past. I could no-one know about my past.And I am a hundred percent sure he won't he can't I had removed every evidence of my past life the day I took up my new name.

Zach:

"Williams...where had I encountered the name ?" I kept repeating the question in my head, "Where? Where? Where?"

And suddenly it struck me in my mother's stories and my father's oath.

The Blood Moon Pack will always be a home to the Williams of the White Moon Pack "In this life and every life"

It was very uncommon for one pack to protect another but these two packs were meant to be one, one day.That's when I called Javour my back manager to get details of the white moon pack and simultaneously order Ashton to go back with Claire and gather as much information available about the white moon pack.It was a rather quiet pack earlier they were close but something happened when I was in college and that lead them to cut all connection except when totally necessary.

I remember their now alpha Mark Williams he was rather a charmer in his college and was pretty famous in his days and I happened to meet him once as well.He was the only white moon I had ever met, the white moon is a small but strong pack and kept their meetings confidential with my father and didn't like their children coming for meetings often.Soon Javour mailed the list to me which I asked Amber to get it to me, somewhere there was a hope in me that this might make her question my act as I asked Javour to name the file as Williams_Details but she blink even once let alone question me for the act.

This meant whatever she was hiding it was strong enough to be hidden from her mate, but wolf why couldn't I feel her wolf it was only once in the beach that Ray felt her wolf never after that.

"How could she have such a stronghold on her wolf?", Ray questioned with a rather gloomy voice.

"I have no idea buddy, but we'll get to know soon. Till then don't surface yourself ok? I don't want to scare her away."

"But I need her, you need her, we need her and she needs us"

"We have her bud, she isn't seeing anyone she is interested in us we will soon have her in my arms, for now, let's give her time."

I plug in the pen drive to my personal computer and went through the list.

Alpha: Mark Williams

Luna: Marinela Aase Classen

Alpha's Sister: Rosaline Isa Williams (Current Beta Female)

Ex-Alpha: Thomas Williams

Ex-Luna: Isabella Anna Williams......

And the list went on with their beta, beta female, and then according to ranks all other members, I couldn't connect any dots.I felt frustrated and suddenly there was a knock it was Stella with a grin on her face, which disappeared on looking at me.She considered me a brother, her family had died in a rogue attack and all she had was us.

"Did I disturb you alpha?"

"Stel how many times do I have to say that you're my sister. You don't have to call me alpha"

"Oh then I will be the sister now tell me what's worrying you?"

"So I think Nic has filled you with the information that Amber might be hiding things and we got to know that her name might be Andrea"

"Yes and so what? Go ask her she is your mate. She will tell you"

"No Stel it isn't that simple. Zander is my best friend yet he chose to hide her secret knowing she is my mate. Its something big, something she doesn't want to open up about that easily. I tried giving her clues but she doesn't want to pick them. I have observed her every time she tries opening up something stops her"

"Oh so I go speak to her"

"No Stel"

"Then what do you want me to do Mr.Alpha? Anyways I brought you to lunch so I already did a bit of talking to your mate on my way informing her that she is relieved from the duty of bringing your lunch for the day and even asked her to join us at lunchtime."

"That's fine Stel I just don't want to push her with something she wants to hide. I want her to come to me when she feels comfortable to do so"

"That's a good mate", she gleamed," And can I have a look at the files you that you asked Javour to get. I know you might have already looked through them but by your expression I am sure you haven't found anything. Something might strike me you know"

"Ya you can Stel. Till then I will go get some coffee."And I left and soon ended up in front of my mate's cabin.
