The darkness was consuming us, I didn't know how much time it had been Thomas had left. I never respected him as my father but still, I couldn't make myself believe that he could fall to such an extent. He never treated me as a daughter but love Rosa, I didn't know what happened between him and Rosa after I left.

I realised how selfish I had been I was too immersed in myself to ever think about Mark or Rosa after I left. But now I see, I can't help my little sister no matter how much I tried, there have been sounds outside, I can feel Zach is near but I have no idea how much strength does Thomas' army has caused it is taking more than usual time to overpower them.

Suddenly I hear Rosa sobbing, "Rosa shhhh we will be fine", I try to console her from my place but she continues, " I can't Anna, everything hurts, I feel like giving up"

"Rosa no you are not giving up, Blake is out there fighting you can't weaken him", I get frustrated whenever people use the word give up. I get it she is in pain but you don't give up that easy you have to have hope.

"I am trying Anna", she says with a sob

"Stop sobbing please", I plead cause her sobs make me feel worse.

"Anna we need to find a way out", speaks my Beta.

"And how you are tied with wolfsbane and I am here objected by some herb", I said raising my brows as if she could see. But what else could we do like if I would be in my wolf form I could escape but what about Stella and Rosa, no matter in which form I am I can't touch wolfsbane.

"So you say we sit here and do nothing while people out there fight for us", Rosa commented in a venom laced voice.

Okay me being me wouldn't have said anything but then there is Riley, " I didn't say that but acting without a plan is worse than not acting. Do I make myself clear"

"Yes alpha", Stella said and I knew she had her head bowed.

Just them a man came rushing into the room and switched on the light.

"One more step Alpha and she is dead", Thomas said placing a knife on Rosa's throat

"Leave her now Thomas", I was losing my patience

"Thomas leave her, she is your daughter for god's sake", Zach shouted across the room

"I am not weak life you all giving up opportunities on mate and family bonds", Thomas said with venom dripping from his voice

"Father please, you want the alpha position take it back but leave her", Mark said trying to come forward

"I am not a fool son, I know your tricks. Don't even try", he said pushing the blade further into Rosa's neck. Blood started to ooze out of the cut formed.
