Chapter 8: Third wheel.

It's now saturday which means I and Ash are going out. I'm done preparing, i'm just waiting for Ash's arrival.

A day passed, Dreik's not talking to me. Like literally not, he's been quiet yesterday. We slept, pero walang imikan. I don't want to be to nosy so I stayed quiet.

Even a glance, hindi nya ako tinatapunan. I badly want to ask him what the heck is the problem but I forced myself not. It's better this way, i'll just have to deal with it.

I fished my phone out of my pocket. Still no messages from Ash. Where the hell is he? I've been waiting for almost 20 minutes.

Did he ditched me?!

I shooked my head. No, ofcourse he can't. He's the one behind all this so it's his responsibility to do what he promised.

I'm a irascible person and that is what I hate about myself. Patience is not in my vocabulary and it will never be in it. I'm not used at waiting for a long period kf time, that's so annoying.

I decided to text him, asking where is he.

Then someone knocked through the door. I rushed to the door and opened it. There, I saw him wearing a plain black t-shirt and ripped jeans paired with a white nike shoes.

He's so personable. He's almost perfect for pete's sake!

I smiled at him. "Oh my Ash. You look stunning." Yes, he is! He really is!

"You too Klyde. What a handsome man infront of me." He teasingly smiled.

I pouted. "You really love to tease me huh?" I chuckled.

"No I don't. You really look good."

"You do!" Tinuro ko sya. He just laughed, tumigil lang ito ng kailangan nito ng hininga. "See? You're teasing me!" Patampo effect pa si ateng nyo hahaha!

He caressed my cheeks with his right hand. His another hand is in his pocket.

"Sorry for the tease." He smiled truthfully. "But I mean it, you do look good." I blushed at what he said.

Ginulo nya ang buhok ko.

I just laughed at his craziness. His derangeness includes to his attitudes that I liked.

"Okay okay, i'll stop." He lend his hand. "Shall we?" He asked me. I just nodded my head and took his hand.

We were about to walk away when someone interrupted us.

"And where are you two going?" What os he doing? Is he insane?

Hinarap ko sya at inayos ang damit ko. "We're gonna have lunch."

He stared at me bago lumipat ang tingin nya kay Ash. He stood up straight and crossed his arms. "I'm coming with you two. I'll just get ready." Tumalikod ito ngunit hindi ito gumalaw. "Don't you dare try to ditch me. Or you'll be punished." He looked back at me teasingly bago naglakad paloob.

Ash tapped my shoulder. I looked at him worried. "Is it okay? Kung gusto mo, sa susunod nalang tayo maglunch."

"It's fine Klyde. Atleast we could still have our quality time as friends." Inilapit nya ang mukha nya sa tenga ko. "May asungot nga lang na umepal." Natawa ako sa binulong nito. Hinampas ko ito sa braso nya pero mahina lang.

"Stop laughing and let's go." Dreik complained. Nauna syang maglakad. Annoying asshole.... tss.

Ash looked at me. He smiled and so do I. Bago naisipang sumunod palabas ng university.
