Rolling over, I heard a thud as a breeze greeted my back. What the hell? I was going to ignore it when someone let out a low groan. Lena!

Opening my eyes, I found the other half of the bed empty and the cover pulled off the side. "Ow..." Lena's pained voice came from the floor as I looked over the side to see her laying on her back looking up at me.

"Sorry. I'm so sorry." Reaching down to help her up, I got her back on the bed frowning. "I forgot you were there, are you okay?" I can't believe I forgot that she was there. How could I forget I was sharing a bed with Lena Luthor?

Lena stretched her back. "I'm fine." Not convinced, I used my x-ray vision to make sure nothing was broken, which probably wasn't my finest moment as Lena slapped my arm. "Are you x-raying me right now?"

Stopping, I looked at Lena's face and gave her a sheepish smile. "I was just checking nothing was broken."

That was apparently the wrong thing to say. "I said I was fine Kara." Meeting Lena's eyes I tried to smile at her, but she raised an eyebrow. "Hold on... Were you just using me falling as an excuse to look at me without clothes on?" My mouth fell open. How could she think that?

"No. No of course not!" I started shaking my head quickly. "I would never do something like that. I only x-ray people for injuries." I was on the verge of rambling if I wasn't careful.

Lena got up from the bed to the bathroom, turning to look back at me from the doorway. "Never?" Why wasn't she believing me!?

"Never. Not once. I promise." She didn't even acknowledge me as she closed the bathroom door. At least today probably couldn't get any worse.

I was making pancakes in the kitchen when Lena walked in and wrinkled her nose at something. "What is that smell?"

Smiling, I showed her the stack of pancakes I had already made. "I thought I would make you pancakes."

Lena looked between me and the pancakes, I knew they weren't the best but they couldn't be that bad. She smiled up at me and picked a bit off the top pancake, reaching up to pop it in her mouth when Cat stopped her.

"What is that God aweful smell?" Cat saw Lena about to eat some of the pancake. "Lena put that down before Keira gives you food poisoning all week." I can't believe Cat was acting like a scolding mother right now, or that Lena seemed to be about to listen.

It's like the cogs were turning in her head, if she got food poisoning, then she didn't have to attend the wedding but at the same time it wouldn't look good. "Put it down." I took the peice of pancake from her hand and dumped the lot of them in the bin.

Cat just watched as she got a cup of coffee. "Since we have a fully catered buffet at the main Villa, care to tell me why you almost gave you both food poisoning?"

I started cleaning up the mess I had made, wishing Cat would leave so I could speed clean. "No reason."

Lena sat down at the breakfast bar. "You can't cook Kara. Do I need to remind you of the grief baking when I found you throwing away cake number five?" I looked up at her as I started wiping down the breakfast bar.

With Cat being so silent I almost forgot she was still in the room. "Does it have something to do with the thump I heard this morning?" If I could glare at her right now, Cat Grant would be dead.

Gripping my hands, Lena leaned down to get me to look in her eyes. "Were you trying to make me breakfast to make up for knocking me out of bed this morning?" When I caught her green eyes I wished I had the strength to look away, it wasn't fair looking at me like I had just done the cutest thing in the world. I could hear my heart skip a beat so loud, I wouldn't have been surprised if Lena heard it too.

"Maybe." My voice wouldn't go above a whisper and Lena smiled at me, squeezing my hands.

Cat shifted her weight from the counter, bringing my attention back to her. "I am going to head over for breakfast. Join me or not the choice is yours." As she was turning to leave, I heard her mutter under her breath. "I know what I would do."

Blushing, my eyes went wide as the implication of what Cat said dawned on me. Part of me wanted to know what Cat thought happened this morning but the better part of me really didn't. I could feel Lena looking at me with a slight frown, confused as to what just happened.

"Kara, Darling?" Hearing the front door, I tried to look at Lena, but Cat's words kept repeating in my head.

Blinking, I grinned at Lena. "Sorry. I just wanted to make up for this morning. I shouldn't have done what I did without asking first but I was just worried."

"It's fine, I know you would never do anything like that. I just like it when you ramble." She let go of my hands and started towards the door.

Sat watching her leave, I couldn't believe she would do that and make me think she was mad at me. "Why would you do that to me?"

Laughing at my reaction, Lena turned back to me in time to see me follow her to the door. "I guess my Luthor genes just shone through. Now let's go before there is nothing left at breakfast." She didn't even wait before walking out the door, starting towards the main Villa as she stared up at the morning sky.

Shutting the villa I caught up to her and enjoyed the sun, the two of talking about the day ahead. "What's the plan for today? Is there anything we have to do?"

Lena tilted her head in thought, regretting not picking her phone up before she left. "Not that I can remember, but I think Jack mentioned a few people would be arriving late last night."

I nodded. "Meaning we will have more than just Cat to deal with today."

"Yes." Hearing the smile disappear as she realised what this all meant, I bumped her shoulder.

"It'll be fine." Getting her to smile at me, I continued. "Do you know who it could have been?"

Shaking her head, we reached the main villa's doors. "Not a clue, but whoever they are they can't be that bad-" Jaw clenched, Lena stopped talking as she spotted someone in the dining room with Cat. My reaction wasn't much better when I realised who had caught her attention.
