When the sun sets and I still think of you,
Please know that I'm badly hurting inside because of you,
When another day starts and the sun rises again,
Please know that you're already causing me much pain.
When the stars twinkle again to me tonight,
Please know that you're not already the reason it shines.
When another morning starts and the birds harmoniously chirp on the trees,
Please know that I want to forget you and all our memories.
The earth and everything that is in it is really against you and me,
And it's already obvious that you wouldn't stand by me.
So I'll just let my heart have the healing that it's been wanting,
And give my mind the peace that it's been longing.
When that acceptance day come,
I'll greet it warmly with my genuine smile,
And will no longer let my heart be sad,
Because you've already cause much sadness and that's enough.
