TW: Oh look, more death. I mean, what were you expecting anyway?
Bailey looked around, only to see darkness. And more darkness.
Of course, she thought. She dug in her purse and took out her flashlight. Click. Bright light bursted out of the flashlight. Despite her new light, the place still had an eerie feeling to it.
She ignored it and walked around, wondering what she was even here for anyway. Her boots squeaked on the pink and white tile. The place suddenly reeked of moldy pizza. She continued, and stopped in Baby's room. She stared at her husband's creation, glaring at the robot's green eyes.
Hmm, Bailey thought, Wait, weren't the eyes blue before?
She shook her head and left the room, and didn't notice Baby turning it's head to face her, her eyes glowing.
She passed by Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy. They twitched in the darkness, adding to the scariness. She was almost through the room when Foxy randomly yelled, "Welcome, friend!" She inhaled sharply, and after a moment she finally convinced herself that it was just it's coding telling it to welcome guests.
Still, the loud greeting had really shook her, and she felt she was on the verge of getting jump-scared out of nowhere. She carefully opened the door to Ballora's room. It was designed like a dance studio almost, with the wall behind Ballora's stage was lined with mirrors, and drawings of these ballerinas called Ballora's 'Minireenas' were dotted across the other walls.
Despite how she used to love this room, the darkness made it feel like the Minireenas' smiles were evil ones, and Ballora herself looked like she was angry at Mrs. Afton. Bailey tried to smile, but she couldn't. It probably didn't matter anyway.
Bailey sat down in one of the chairs. Why was she here again? Just now she realized it didn't make sense that she was here. Especially during midnight. It was as if someone had given her a blindfold and headphones, then led her to this place and took them off when she arrived to this room. And then the person leading her disappeared. Or maybe the person had been invisible.
She froze for a moment. A familiar tune was playing. It seemed to be coming from Ballora.
Why are you hiding in your walls . . ?
When there is music in my halls . .She knew those lyrics. They were from a song she wrote herself. She remembered writing music for her husband's animatronics, but this song was very personal. She didn't remember telling William about it. So how come Ballora was singing it?
Staring at an empty room . .
No more joy, an empty tomb . .Bailey stood up. Coming here was a mistake. The longer she stayed in here, the more uncomfortable she was. Ballora must have sensed her getting up, because it stopped dancing and singing, and suddenly there were wheels attached to Ballora's feet.
Ballora went down the stage's stairs and rolled towards Bailey Afton, who was already running. She ran past animatronics, and when she did their eyes glowed red. Funtime Freddy through his companion BonBon at her, and she quickly fell to the ground to dodge it, accidentally doing a split in the process (don't worry, she's used to doing splits, so she was fine).
She got up and ran past Circus Baby, who made a weird groan when she went past her.
I'm so close to the exit, Bailey thought, I can feel it!
She accidentally slid on the tile and tripped, hitting her head against the exit. Ow. She got up, Ballora zooming in on her, and she turned the handle.
Nothing.
W- why won't the door open?! she thought. She tried taking deep breaths and calmly finding a way out, but panic took over. It would be too late.
She sat on the floor and cried as Ballora loomed over her and grabbed her shoulders.
Michael woke up the next morning and after eating breakfast realized his mom wasn't home. "Maybe she went to work early . . ?" He said to himself. He wouldn't accept the fact that his mom had died overnight.
He flopped on the couch like someone bored during quarantine (Except he wasn't, how lucky he is), and turned on his TV. "Hmm," he said to himself. Flipping through channels, he finally got bored and settled on the news channel.
Just the normal stuff, weather, special events coming up, and a robbery at the grand opening of a grocery store. But then something happened. After the news reporter got attacked by her dog, she started talking about another death that occurred at a Freddy Fazbear's location. Circus Baby's Pizza World.
"Right now police are at the scene," said the reporter, "of the death of Bailey Afton. Apparently she was inside the building and got killed by . . something. The police have checked the security cameras and saw footage of the crime. Here's what they saw."
Michael watched as his mom slammed into the front door of the building, then tried opening the door. When she couldn't, she fell to the floor as a strange humanoid being loomed over her and- suddenly the camera went black. When the footage went back to normal, the being was near the edge of the camera's sight, dragging something behind it.
Then it switched back to the news room and the person went back to speaking. "Police are looking for evidence of who has done this, but cannot find fingerprints or DNA other than Bailey's. And apparently they can't find the body either. They searched the dumpsters, but still no evidence of a body their either."
Michael turned off the TV. Before he started raging, he thought about what would happen to him, now that everyone was . . dead. How could he possibly take control of a huge business and pay bills? Where would he live? He was only 13!
His family wasn't able to make much money ever since William died. He didn't even know how to use it correctly. His mind had been such a mess lately he hadn't really thought of doing anything, so he had no idea how to manage this. He went to his mom and dad's room and scrapped up all the available money he could find. He packed a suitcase with his most valuable belongings, which included pictures and things that would remember him of his family. He knew he wouldn't be able to stay here long.
