Rogue's pov

I was woken up by the door to my room being slammed open. I sat up, turning to look at the door. Minerva stormed over to the bed, grabbing onto the collar of my shirt and pulling me up to her face.
"You're late" she hissed, eyes sparked with anger. Right. I was supposed to be downstairs to prepare for the games.
"Right. Let me just get ready" I reply in the calmest voice I could muster but she could see Starlight and things would go completely south if that happened. We'd both be screwed. She let go of my shirt.
"You better hurry. If we get disqualified because of you then you know what happens" she spat. I gulped. I knew exactly what she meant. Sting would be pissed if I was the reason Lector was killed. Movement behind me made me froze.
"What's going on?" Starlight asked. I bit my lip. Not good. Not good in the slightest. Rogue started behind me for a few seconds, a disgusted look forming on her face before she turned to me.
"What is a Fairy doing in your bed" she hissed at me. I turned around. Starlight was wearing one of my shirts which was too big for her smaller and skinnier build. The collar exposed her shoulders and lower back. That meant the guild mark which sat on her shoulder was clear for anyone to see. The dull red colour probably didn't help in it blending into her skin.
"I can explain" I object. She ignores me, instead grabbing Starlight's shirt and pulling her to the ground. She tries to get back up but before either of us can do anything, Minerva summons something and it hits Starlight in a flash, causing her to cry out. I scramble out of the bed and over to her.
"Starlight!" I yell, checking the spot that had been struck. The edge of the shirt was soaked just where a dark coloured mark had begun forming. She had been hit with boiling water. I place my hands on the mark but she whimpers in response.
"I-I'll fix this. Just..... don't move" I explain. I get up and walk to the bathroom to try and find something cold, completely ignoring Minerva. When I return with a cold water soaked cloth, Starlight is gone. Minerva is sat on the bed, legs crossed and a grin that sent chills down my spine.
"W-where's Starlight?" I ask, trying not to let the fear at her grin show.
"You won't be seeing her anytime soon" she states, looking down at her nails. My vision is starting t blur slightly.
"What did you do with her?" I demand, nails digging into the palms of my hands.
"I'm putting you under the same conditions as Lector. The only difference is that I will kill her if you loose a single fight" she explains, getting to her feet. A tear slips down my cheek.
"W-what?" I ask.
"You heard me. Oh and here's a little addition. I'll be sure to use that lovely little link you've so kindly provided me with to hurt you more than just emotionally if I do kill her" she explains, that grin back on her face.
"Now hurry up before we get disqualified for being late" she spits before leaving the room, closing the door behind her. I fall to my knees, the tears falling uncontrollably. I grit my teeth, entire body shaking. I had no choice. I couldn't take my anger out on her. She'd kill me. Instead, I'll just take it out on the enemy.
